Holy kittens! Man, this one is nuts! The characters - outstanding! The story doesn’t have much going on but it doesn’t need to! It feels just like a good ol’ manipulative toxic relationship. Not like 2024 “ewww my boyfriend yelled at me cause I grinded on another guy at the club!!!!” toxic, it’s like, TOXIC.
The guy is a master manipulator, it’s honestly disturbing how good he is at it and how far he goes with success; how she’s so ready to be done with him and finally has evidence against him and as she’s walking out the door, he reels her back in to stay.
You can really see how much he gaslights her to always submit and agree with him and agree that she’s the one acting poorly and not him.
It’s short, but powerful. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend giving this a listen. The first episode is subtle and you may think all these reviews are being overly dramatic, but the final two episodes, holy cute baby kitty cats….
