Chasing Bravery is an authentic platform for sharing the real stories of women, as they pertain to all things related to reproductive health and “womanhood”. This platform is in support of the reality that most individuals do not experience their sexuality or identity as being binary, however very real limitations and barriers still exist that consistently challenge the ways in which women feel they can be women and overall individuals. Chasing Bravery seeks to address the stigmas and predetermined narratives many women feel stifled under. The global term of what it means to be a woman is rapidly evolving. In many ways, women are beginning to finally feel like they have the ultimate say in how they are defined. Unfortunately, there are still many areas of womanhood that remain taboo-hidden. Realities such as miscarriage, infertility, fertility, abortion, sexuality, and gender roles/ norms are not conversed about as fluidly as they should be. Chasing Bravery recognizes that living and owning our own narratives often requires bravery- we want to share, embrace, and celebrate what makes each woman brave.

Love this show

I love listening to these. Although lots of running guests and topics, this is so much more than a running podcast! Keep the good stuff coming!

More guest, less host

I’ve listened to many of Kaitlin’s episodes because she gets great guests on her show and is clearly sweet and passionate however I feel like she talks a lot about her own life- which was fine the first few episodes as I didn’t know her-but it has become redundant. I already know how many people are in her family and about her college eating and injuries, etc. I’m listening for the guest! I think she has some really great knowledge, but I wish she could use her experience to drive questioning to pull the information she wants to talk about out of the guests story rather than continually using her own. A bit more focus needed, but impressive guests, and very heartfelt and passionate.

Fantastic podcast!

I love Kaitlyn’s podcast! She always has great guests, asks fun questions, and it’s apparent that she’s got a great heart and sweet personality! This podcast is definitely encouraging and motivational and I’m so grateful that Kaitlyn shared her gift with us. My only suggestion is that Kaitlyn would let the guests talk more and not focus the conversation back on herself during the interview. I would love to hear more from Kaitlyn, but also want to learn a lot more about the guests — so maybe it would be fun to have some episodes that are just Kaitlyn speaking and sharing her experiences/encouragement! Overall, a wonderful podcast and I’m excited to see how Kaitlyn will grow it!
