Ok story but unsatisfactory ending
The story was OK but most of the phone conversations were poor quality and you couldn’t understand the conversations. [spoiler ahead] after chasing this guy for 15 years and with all of the people that were scammed, he gets a two-year sentence in jail and the narrator says they finally got exactly what they wanted??! I wasn’t even one of the people scammed and I was disappointed in the jail sentence. I’m listening to this in late 23 so I assume he’s already walking the streets and scamming people again. What a total letdown.
Overall compelling
Good podcast focusing on a conman though sometimes the audio quality wasn’t great and the host is a bit full of herself at times. She is a good narrator though.
