One week it could be a studio based show, the next, a live comedy event. It could even be a location report or a scripted adventure! A few things it is, however, is rude, crude, silly and drizzled in pop culture, nostalgia and plenty of verbal violence! It has guests, videos, songs, reviews, games and dares.     Ep 502: A Big Ruddy Rip Off

    Who likes board games? Who likes board games based on famous TV shows? Who likes board games based on famous TV shows with rules that make no ruddy sense? Not Paul and Eli! This week, the cheap chaps return to do a thorough investigation of the board game based on “That’s Life”, the hit consumer affairs show from the 1970s/80s/90s! Try as they might, they simply can’t figure how this game is meant to work. Are they idiots, have they missed out an important piece of information, is the game a load of old balls? Only these questions can be answered over the course of one confusing episode. Luckily, they have much more fun flicking through the pages of “U.K. Crisp Packets 1970 – 2000”.     Mono Edition For over a decade, Paul and Eli have tackled a number of long, weird and tiring walks for their “walkabout” episodes. This week, for our four hundred and ninety ninth edition of the economy comedy podcast, the Cheap Chaps take on their most epic, most arduous and definitely most punishing walk EVER… And all they are doing is walking from Eli’s flat in Harringay to Paul’s place in Harrow. How hard can it be? As it turns out, it’s a ruddy nightmare! What seemed like a cute idea at the start quickly becomes a walkabout like no other. Over the course of NINE hours and around 16 miles, they’ll take in high streets, quiet suburbs, motorways, country parks, winding trails, parkland walks, familiar routes, hot weather, old haunts and accidently dig up some memories from the past decade of CheapShow.
