It’s a podcast that cares more about the creators than the listener, and that’s OK. Not a serious book podcast as they listened to the audiobook and forgot, or misinterpreted, a lot of story or world building details. Many of their complaints seem to come from missing details due to listening to the audiobook. Ex in the red rising episode they are discussing Darrow’s being too mature for 16 but it’s because he comes from a culture where death is so common for ment 40 is almost considered elderly and most of the knowledge a typical 16 learns in school is uploaded directly into their minds. I think these are details that are missed because they may be passively listening compared to being more focused when reading.
