The following review has been sugar-coated and fluffed for nearly two months.
These podcasts have been long, boring, and offensive. The early podcasts are thick with homophobic remarks. Mid-production podcasts feel forced and shallow. The last few podcasts are just plain boring. While the zingers that criss-cross between podcast members warrant a laugh here and there, their exaggeration quickly diminishes their comic effect.
While I could go on (believe me I could), I'll address the biggest problem directly: the ending. It is obvious to anyone after one episode that your podcast if a very much NO script or real structure project. Nothing wrong with that. But when you openly admit (whether literally or subtlety) that the ending of each episode is when you feel it has gone on too long or you have gotten bored, the podcast feels cheap. While you may not know what your podcast will actually hold or pertain to, the length of the episodes should be gauged on if you feel the content is enough, not the time. Otherwise, just like the produces of this podcast, the audience will turn off the play when they're bored. If you were curious, out of a group of seven forced listeners that time was sixteen to twenty-five minutes.
I hope things are changed about this podcast. It is obvious most episodes are fun to record and make. The audience, whoever that is, should also enjoy that same fun felt by the creators.
Unfortunately from a small poll of willing listeners..... it is not.
I am evil I know, but a necessary evil indeed.
