CelllleBraTION Thyme COMEON!
We’re Back! Just in time for the end of the year! So you KNOW we’re drinking Sierra Nevada Celebration. Join us in discussing the year for Seattle Beer School and the beer industry as a whole.
Come hang out with us in Portland! Dec 16-18th! Tickets to Falalalalager: falalalalager.eventbrite.com
Open that Celebration and join us as we talk about how we had Brouwer’s Cafe tap a 10 year old keg of Bigfoot, a mini lesson on Stjørdalsøl, and how we think dark malts are making a comeback in the new year. -
Bia Hoi! ft. Mark Dredge
Jess and Shawna chat with Mark Dredge, author of A Brief History of Lager, about Vietnamese lager and beer culture.
Mark collaborated with Lowercase Brewing to brew a Hanoi-inspired, low ABV, rice lager. We do a blind tasting of it, talk German lagers with an English accent, and the French colonization of Vietnam and how that led to lager brewing there.
