Love movies, TV, binge watching, books, and pop culture? Then join me for movie and television discussions on Chick Flick Chat. We're going to dish the dirt, uncover the messages, and discuss the details. It's fun, informative, and a great place to exchange "after the movie" thoughts and ideas. Here you will also find previously recorded podcast on another platform - some older and some newer - all recorded under my old blog, so please excuse the references to those site and enjoy the Chick Flick Chats!
House of Gucci
Brilliantly adapted from the book by Sara Gay Forden, "The House of Gucci," this film comes to life through the talents of Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Al Pacino, and a very strong supporting cast. It is beautifully filmed, well acted, and a treat for anyone who loves fashion. Director Ridley Scott manages to create a multifaceted foray into greed, ambition, creativity, marriage, money, and more!
In this episode of Chick Flick Chat you can listen without worry if you haven't see the movie yet, because I avoided spoiling the plot. It is a fascinating story since it's true. There is so much to examine that I will probably come back to this film after Oscar season to do a deep discussion into the roles for women and women's roles (those are the details at the heart of Chick Flick Chat!). Enjoy!
