    The Other Side of the Mirror

    You pass it every morning, you barely glance at it, never thinking about what is being reflected at you or what's on the other side. Mirrors are the most ordinary objects in the world, and according to centuries of folklore, one of the most dangerous. The ancient Aztecs used polished obsidian to communicate with the dead. The Victorians covered every mirror in the house the moment someone died. Throughout different cultures, languages, and religions, the belief that mirrors are somehow a portal to another world has been steadfast.     Trickster Entities & Spirits

    Throughout history, from ancient times onward, different cultures around the world described trickster entities that thrived on the fear and confusion they brought to humans.
