    Ep. 56 - Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Part 2

    We are back finally, and the episode we came back on was one of extremes. 2024 has had some absolute bangers release, but one of the most anticipated games of the year is Rebirth. After Remake took the world by storm, Square Enix promised that Rebirth would drastically build upon what they did in its predecessor, making it look like a demo.     Ep. 54 - God of War: Ragnarok

    A wonderful conclusion to the two-part series of Kratos’ next adventure, God of War: Ragnarok recently released to millions of excited fans. People have been patiently waiting to see how Kratos’, Atreus’, and Mimir’s story would culminate with the cataclysmic event of Ragnarok looming on them. With encounters with Nidhogg, The Norns, Heimdall, and Thor and Odin, the game is full of adventure. In this episode, Rich and Shea sat down to discuss the story in its entirety, as well as reflect on their thoughts. Some moments were humorous, some were melancholic, and some were exciting!     Ep. 53 - God of War (2018)

    God of War: Ragnarok is just around the corner. If you’re anything like us, while God of War (2018) was memorable, it’s been a minute. It’s almost as if a bunch of world-altering things have happened in the past few years. But anyways…we went back to give you (and ourselves) a refresher. We jump back into controlling god killer Kratos, but he is a changed man. He has married and had a child, Atreus. His wife, Faye, passes, and her dying wish was to have her ashes spread at the highest peak in the nine realms. Kratos and Atreus navigate the realm of Midgard, coming face to face with Norse gods in their pursuit to fulfill Faye’s final wish.     Ep. 51 - Crosscode

    This episode has been a long time coming, as Josh and Shea have been wanting to talk about this game for years. Crosscode, a game created by Radical Fish Games and Deck13, is an action RPG that tells the story of Lea, who finds herself in the MMORPG called Crossworlds…but she has no recollection of who is she or what she’s doing there. As she explores Crossworlds, she meets many characters who both help her and challenge her. The deeper she gets into the world, a mystery starts to unfurl. The conversation takes many interesting twists and turns, as Josh and Shea discuss the superb writing, the future of AI, and framing of a narrative.
