    We develop 10 questions we would want to ask Keith Moon. Two comedians use the socratic method and improv to develop questions for Keith Moon while live streaming on November 27th, 2019. Stephen Alloy, a lawyer by profession, and my self, a retired veteran, met while learning improv and now perform improv in the Omaha area. We both love The Who, and wanted to learn more about Keith Moon. We listened to interviews, podcasts & documentaries and read anything we could find about Keith Moon. In the live stream we have a broad discussion! What was Moon the Loon's favorite prank; did he like the go-by 'Moon the Loon'; was blowing up a bass drum and impaling a cymbol into his arm too far; what was the most important relationship that kept him grounded; these and many other steams of thought!  Support the show

    10 Questions for Ric Ocasek | The Cars

    This live stream music history podcast, reviews The Cars debut album and comes up with 10 questions for Ric Ocasek as a tribute to this amazing artist.  Two comedians use the socratic method and improv to develop questions for Ric Ocasek while live streaming on October 26th, 2019.  Stephen Alloy, a lawyer by profession, and my self, a retired veteran, met while learning improv and now perform improv in the Omaha area.  We both love The Cars, and wanted to learn more about Ric Ocasek.  We listened to interviews, podcasts & documentaries and read anything we could find about Ric Ocasek.   In the live stream we have a broad discussion!  Who had a similar sound to The Cars, how did Ric Ocasek get along with producer Roy Thomas Baker, what would the 1978 Ocasek think of Weezer, who did Ocasek look up to in the song writing world, how much did Ocasek influence the bands he produced, what is up with 3.44,  would the The Cars have produced more if the Hindenburg disaster had not occurred, what attracted Ocasek to Orr, who is the Ric Ocasek of today, what fundamentally motivated Ocasek, and many other steams of thought!    Support the show

    10 Questions for Charlie Watts | The Rolling Stones | Beggars Banquet

    Chris Chocolaad and Stephen Alloy use the socratic method and improv to develop the ultimate 10 questions for Charlie Watts, drummer for the The Rolling Stones.  We focus on The Rolling Stones 1968 album Beggars Banquet.  Our discussion led into the Stones' famous corporate retreat where they thought outside the box, my childhood friend who became a Yogi monk, and other issues. It's all fun. We listened to the vinyl album, researched interviews & documentaries, and scoured scholarly journals to develop the ultimate 10 questions.  With lots of fun along the way!  Support the show

    10 Questions for Kris Bentley | Sundy Best | Door without a Screen

    We use the socratic method and improv to develop 10 questions for Kris Bentley of the duo Sundy Best, and have a lot of fun along the way! I asked Joe Campisi what artist we should talk about next and he immediately mentioned the band Sundy Best. I must admit a bit of reluctance. After a bit of research on their meteoric rise and learning the duo's drummer plays the Cajon, I thought lets give it a shot! We listened to Sundy Best's debut album Door without a Screen, researched interviews, newspaper articles, and peer reviewed journals to find the ultimate 10 questions to ask Kris Bentley!  Support the show

    Stephen is back!  After talking about Jim Morrison, we really wanted to take a deep dive into Ray Manzarek.  Manzarek played keyboard and marimba for The Doors.     10 Questions for Angus Young | AC / DC | High Voltage

    Joe, an improvisor from the Omaha area joined me on a live stream for 10 questions for Angus Young,.  I show my AC / DC vinyl collection, and then we focus on AC/DC's debut album High Voltage.  Along the way we learned a little but more about AC / DC.  AC / DC 's High Way to Hell was my first 8-track, and Dirty Deeds was one of my first vinyl albums.  Joe learned to love AC / DC thanks to his wrestling coaches.  We  took a deep dive into Angus Young, re-listening to the vinyl records, watching documentaries, and pulling research articles.  With all this background we come up with the ultimate list of 10 questions to ask Angus Young.     Joe, and improviser from Omaha, joins me in using the socratic method and improv to develop 10 questions to ask Jimi Hendrix Experience with a focus on the Winterland concerts.  Streamed live on YouTube, we talk about the Vinyl Winterland Box Set, our experience listening to Jimi Hendrix, and then we jump into coming up with the ultimate 10 questions to ask Jimi Hendrix.   We learned a lot about Jimi Hendrix through the process, and had tons of fun!  Support the show
