I have of late become a great admirer of John Chrysostom. This podcast reinforced my admiration of Chrysostom and bolstered my faith. Thank you so much for recoding the episodes.

“Back in the day, in the early church, especially in the eastern part… there was a focus on fasting, restrictions, putting away the desires of the flesh to focus on God, so they went a little too far, certainly farther than we would do today and John was ‘guilty’ of this…” (episode 5) -The Eastern Orthodox Church still exists.
