Episode 53 - The Trial of the Chicago 7: Quick Burn
"THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!!" - Jedd is back and we do a quick burn on one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Aaron Sorkin's Trial of the Chicago 7. This is a fascinating look at one of the most important moments in modern history as it moves back and forth between the events that led to the protest and riots of the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago and the bizarre trial that followed. We loved it, but as with all things, we've got takes. Jedd - 7.8/10 Cole - 8/10

“It’s not your fault” – Actually, it’s Cole’s fault. Thanks to some very unplanned work stuff, Cole took forever to get this edit done. However, our Good Will Hunting episode is worth a ticket to Game 6! Download now to hear if Skylar is actually funny, whether Robin Williams was overrated, and if Cole and Jedd would go see about a girl.

I really enjoy Cole and Jedd’s analysis of movies and deep-cut references. They share a great camaraderie and make even movies I hate into enjoyable podcasts.
Also I’m ready for the Harrison Ford super cut podcasts (but let’s be honest it should be it’s own series). Keep it up guys!
Rad and Adorable?!?!
Holla to Heaving Bosoms for helping me find this awesome podcast! The movie reviews are really fun, and I’ve caught myself laughing out loud by myself multiple times. I especially love all the background info these two know about the movies they’re reviewing and about the actors. Plus, they’re so excited about these movies it’s infectious.
I’m just going to try this since it worked for Heaving Bosoms. How about a five star rating trade for a request? Eh hem...perhaps you could maybe possibly review Old School and/or (why not shoot for two while I’m at it?) Empire Records? If not, we’re cool...we’re cool.
Great job, Guys! Keep up the hilarious reviews.
I found this podcast through Heaving Bosoms podcast, a strange connection on the surface but the Cole from Cigarette Burns is friends with Erin from Heaving Bosoms. I thought I'd give it a listen. It reignited my love of movies but unfortunately didn't add time to my life that I can actually watch them. Listening to these guys rehash movies is a fun alternative!
