    Fusing Film and Sculpture with a Unique Artistic Lens "Special guest Claudio Marcotulli"

    Claudio Marcotulli is a filmmaker born in Venezuela; from his early days growing up in Caracas, his passion for aerodynamics, filmmaking, and the arts grew tremendously every day until he had the opportunity to train as an Aeronautical Engineer. As Claudio Marcotulli continued his education in the early 2000s, he received his B.F.A. from Emerson College in Boston and M.F.A degree from the Miami International University of Art and Design in 2005. Since then, his work has been exhibited internationally and has received support from South Florida PBS, The Knight Foundation, and MDC Live Arts, among others. Claudio is a Miami-based artist, working predominantly in media, sculpture, and performance to create works investigating his interest in technology and nature by illuminating existential questions around these subjects. His projects range from sculpture and performance installations to film and digital imagery, often referencing memory, natural elements, and climate change issues with a surrealistic approach. Marcotulli also explores principles of aerodynamics that reveal the science and poetry behind flight mechanics. He has been an artist in residence at Live Arts Miami’s Lab Alliance (2018), Mana Contemporary Miami (2019-2020), and Laundromat Arts Space since 2021. He is a Miami-based artist who uses sculpture, installation, and film to create works that investigate his interest in nature and physics. Flight by illuminating existential questions around these subjects. His three-dimensional works and films often reference the universe’s origins, memory, and other cosmic questions: Clandestina, Miami International Airport, Miami Gallery, and AIRIE, among others. His films have been part of selections by the Miami International Film Festival, ScreenDance Miami, and over twenty international film festivals. He has also received awards and funding support from the Knight. Marcotulli has resided with Correlation Contemporanea, Peru, Casa GIAP, Mexico, and MDC Live Arts Miami Lab Residency.     "A touch transforms with the power of creativity in her veins" With a special guest Idelia Mars

    Idelia Mars is an international music singer in the pop, electronic, dance, and R&B genres. She can sing in three languages: English, Russian, and Tatar. Idelia is also becoming fluent in Spanish; her goal is to sing in Spanish in a future production. Idelia Makarova was born in the capital city of Kazan, in the exotic Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. She grew up in a Tatar family surrounded by the love of music. Her father was a popular classical music composer. He fondly stated, "As a child, Idelia loved performing for guests and writing beautiful poems. She felt a soulful connection to creativity from a very young age, especially music ." Her father passed away on March 16th 2016. Her mother contributed to the development of the Tatar Encyclopedia, but when she was younger, she dreamed of being a singer because she had a fantastic soprano voice. Both sides of Idelia's family are full of inspiration and creativity. Her uncle from her mother's side is also a very famous composer and singer in the Tatar Music World. In addition, Idelia's career began with television as early as the second grade. When the producer of a theatrical television discovered her talent and cast her for a children's television show Moving forward, as a teenager, Idelia was selected to host the Tatar Television Youth Program called "Yashlar Tuktalyshy" ("Youth stop"). She revolutionized the program with a new freestyle format. She also participated in music, choreography, and acting classes. During this period, Idelia realized she had something to give back to the world and decided to follow her inspiration to pursue a career in music and entertainment. Idelia recently made her directorial debut with her short film SEE MY VOICE, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime. She wrote, produced, and acted in the movie based on her inspiring original song "My Voice," which is about her inner voice. Most important to her, she truly desired to work on a project that would combine her talents as a writer and a singer. This is how "See My Voice" was born. She created this short film always to remember her father. In her future goal, Idelia plans to write a script for her first feature film in the Fantasy genre, which will bring a new message to Humanity.
