I tuned into one episode with the subject matter “childcare education cost” and was appalled by many things listed below: 1) Their negative opinion on taxes POTENTIALLY being raised in the future in states with high costs of daycare...(more on this in #2) This woman has 2 kids in daycare herself yet says kids are only in daycare “2-3 years”. As a working mom, my son has been in daycare since he was one, and now is in school—so I’ll be paying for 4 years of school or daycare all before Kindergarten—the math is 4-5 years for any dual income working family. 2) Childcare is a burden and all they shed on this topic was to share a list, and complain that tax payers in expensive childcare states will have to pay more in taxes. Don’t you want the kids growing up around you educated and taken care of? You sound “pro-life” in your values if you're conservative and christian. Taking care of the people physically around you in your state is about as PRO- Life as it gets..taking care of children and mothers with maternity leave too (cough different subject but the math maths with liberal states affording leave, and conservative states often granting NO leave) 3) Their thoughts on Heather McDonalds talk at a Cali University. IMP these hosts have racist thoughts and are too ignorant to even see their own blind spots around race. They don’t even see their own white privilege and clearly don't know or live around people who’ve been dealt with generational poverty, thanks to America’s racist ancestors. Go back 30, 60, and 90 years. Black families didn’t have fathers, or sometimes even stable mothers to “watch their kids do their homework” like “asian mothers” as touted. Black lives matter means, take away your white privilege and open your eyes to how others have lived and been parented for generations! It’s not my place to educate you but please educate yourselves by reading more non-media sources of the history of race in America. 4) I never write reviews but was so appalled by these two, I had to write one. I’m college educated, mother to 2 and and live in the largest US LIBERAL city. I wish you both the best in your personal journeys of self discovery…change is always possible.

Since LAUSD schools are still closed, and parents have plenty of time to check out the social media pages of UTLA and CTA, I’ve noticed that these unionized teachers are creating little activists out of their students. At the same time, these students are not prepared to work in an international labor market because students in other countries are not wasting time on social justice and political nonsense. The hosts talk fast, so you might want to listen on 1.5x instead of 2x speed.
