Such a Valuable Window

I love this podcast. I think what I love the most is the candor with which Matt and his guests share their journeys as artists. Ive listened to almost every episode and it’s great to hear common themes develop from artist to artist. Personally, I feel encouraged and energized by each one of these episodes. Thanks, Matt and company for putting this together every week. I highly recommend this podcast.

🔥They don’t teach you this stuff in Art School

I Love this podcast. I’ve been sending it to a lot my friends who are artists because there is such lack of clarity out there on what it means to be an artist. Yes it’s rad to do what you love, yes creativity and passion are essential, but also it’s about being professional and treating your career like a straight up business.

Also stoked on how Matt asks some tough questions of guest artists, and pushes them for details. Social media best practices, contracts, client communication, art shows, gallery representation, and prints vs originals, this is the stuff you won’t learn in Art school. I highly recommend listening to the episode with Thinkspace gallery owner Andrew Hosner who lays it out pretty clear. Then go listen to Jose Mertz for some work ethic real talk. Keep it up guys! ✊⚡️

Great Pod

Great Podcast. I listen to every art podcast I can and this is my go-to out of all of them. Hey by the way, I listen to this at the gym with headphones, and I always have to crank it up to the highest volume, and still sometimes the volume is too low to listen. So I have to listen to another podcast which is usually louder. Seems like your show is usually pretty low. It would be great if you could bring it up a few notches for future episodes if you can. Thanks for this show, Sala
