Clock It sounds like the front porch conversations I grew up on - curious, sharp, and unafraid - just with degrees and microphones. Symone and Eugene aren’t brilliant instead of the family; they’re brilliant because of the family! What they do on the mic is what we’ve always done at home: clocking the world with wisdom, humor and love - now platformed for a wider audience.

Y’all. I’m very excited to be finding whimsy having found this podcast. This morning I asked my child if he’d heard about Artemis, he hadn’t. Since I’d seen the Apr 9 ep title I started it up and what a treat that the intro was a light touch on the hard news and an effusive overview of the latest space endeavor. Me and the boy learned that skin folk were on the mission AND the affirmation that we are looking for a world in which black achievement is held as human achievement. And THEN all the reminders that I need to start voicing my momma if I want him to be able to be aware. So I’ll be thinking on how to gentle parent with Momma’s inflect. Loving Clock It. Loving the diversity of perspective and walk up to this point in y’all’s careers and those of your guests. Thanks for letting us into the group chat!!
