Great Podcast

JD once said in a long ago ep that someone he admired said he would never consider JD to be a serious intellectual. I guess I remember that comment because on the contrary, I do believe JD and Ed are both serious intellectuals—and I want them to know that! I appreciate their thoughtful takes on the news, and they’ve helped my spouse and I make a lot of sense of “the new normal”. I also appreciate when they go “to the law!” in order to explicate canons. I do think that sometimes JD goes on a bit long, but we are very grateful for this podcast, and look forward to it every week. I truly believe JD and Ed are doing God’s good work—with much charity and not without a little humor—so thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless.

Good but too long

Good content but the editors need an editor. Way too windy. 90 minutes could easily be distilled to 30-40 minutes with little lost. Lawyers love the sound of their own voices, which is why the Supreme Court imposes time limits to enforce a blessed brevity.
