Coach's Chat

I am one of Foster Strength's clients, as well as a health care provider. My husband and I train with Betsy twice a week and she is helping us both as we recover from major surgeries (me - back, husband - rotator cuff). We have been working with her consistently since July 2022, and throughout that time, she has used her knowledge to help us both get back to where we were pre-injury and surgery. She has never overstepped her bounds, and always defered to the surgeon imposed limitations until they were altered and ultimately lifted. We are well on our way back to our pre-surgery strength level and can't thank Betsy enough for helping us get there. I enjoy listening to her Coach's Chat podcast to learn new things, as well as gain an understanding of why she has us do certain things or at certain times. And so we can be ready for those difficult conversations should they ever arise :)

I’ve been in the personal training space for almost a decade, and I can confidently say that the content in each episode is invaluable. Betsy covers topics that get into a lot of the practical info trainers need, along with some really solid advice that could only come from someone who’s actually been in the work.

In so many of Betsy’s podcasts, she gives actionable advice that applies way beyond trainers and fitness. She gives clear ideas about how to create a safe working environment and talks about meeting clients where they are. As a teacher, I think those ideas can be applied to the classroom. Meeting students where they are can only help students be more successful. Also, if you’re looking for a trainer or a fitness coach, after listening to a few podcasts, you’ll know how to spot a great coach.

Betsy is a bank of information for early stage personal trainers trying to gain their footing in the fitness industry! Her advice is so actionable and comes from a genuine place. This show is a great resource & Betsy gives trustworthy advice. 10/10 in my book!
