Terry provides a lot of good information for coding, but she has a right leaning stance that’s been pretty obvious by some of the things that she said. She recently made a comment on the government shut down stating that Democrats want illegal immigrants to be able to get healthcare and that’s why they haven’t come to an agreement. Illegal immigrants are not eligible and have never been eligible for healthcare, and it’s not why the Dems aren’t approving the funding. This is a false right wing talking point. If she’s so off-base about this, what else is she getting wrong? Not to mention she also praised RFKJr and Dr Oz in a different episode. It’s very disconcerting and I’m not sure if I’ll continue to listen to this podcast.

Terry Fletcher may know coding, but praising figures like RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz from a healthcare platform is shocking and indefensible. RFK Jr. has gutted public health funding, dismantled scientific advisory boards, forced out vaccine experts, destabilized vital agencies, stacked panels with anti-vaccine activists, promoted debunked treatments, and threatened to silence government scientists. These aren’t just bad opinions—they’re actions that undermine science, research, and disease prevention at every level. Even if her technical advice checks out, aligning herself with voices responsible for this harm makes me question everything else she says.
