    Tonight I'm on with Brad from Awakened Podcast, and we're doing a live one on world-ending events, because apparently the world's ending again. Today's flavor: a 7 second loss of gravity. Yeah. You read that right. This isn't even a new claim. It traces back to a 1976 April Fools' bit from astronomer Patrick Moore on BBC radio, where he said a rare alignment of Jupiter and Pluto would briefly cancel out Earth's gravity. People jumped, some even floated on cue because they believed it hard enough. It's been recycled online every few years since, and this week it's back, dressed up as a NASA warning. So Brad and I are going to dig through it live. Where the claim actually came from. Why it keeps resurfacing right when people are primed for doomsday content. And whether there's anything real buried under the noise, because sometimes there is, and sometimes it's just a fifty year old joke that won't die. We'll also get into the bigger pattern.
