Coder vs CDI

As someone who works in denials management, sometimes I feel like it’s hard to find quality resources or forums specific to my line of work that talk about the real issues and isn’t just regurgitated. This podcast has made me think (and feel vindicated at times). Please continue to release new episodes! I love the ones that focus on denials and clinical validation.

Relevant CDI/Coding topics with a higher-level look at the importance of our work and the purpose we can find in it. I do wish they would introduce themselves and state what role they play and experience they have before jumping into the topic to provide better understanding.

This is a great podcast if you are in the CDI, HIM, or Quality arena of healthcare. Very timely topics with knowledgeable hosts and guests. There’s not another CDI podcast out there like this one!!

I always enjoy hearing Amy and Allen’s opinions on trending topics. I learn something every time I listen which I think is the mark of great podcast. Keep it up peeps!
