In November of 2022 I was pregnant with my son, who knew a side effect of pregnancy would be multiple panic attacks a day? Not me. This podcast was one of the only things I could listen to and not end up in a panic. Thank you to Ma for her soothing voice, her past shenanigans, and her wisdom. I think of her as my own Ma now. 🫶

Kahentinetha is such a character!
Fundamentally important and absolutely incredible

This is so important. The stories speak about, speak to, speak against the loud stories of colonialism. To listen to these stories as I walk on stolen Muskogee/Creek land, to hear both the connections to larger issues facing Indigenous communities while getting the specific personal, sometimes hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking, stories of you and your Ma is an absolute privilege.
So good.

Your Ma’s voice is so comforting. She reminds me so much of my Aunt and all her amazing stories. Thank you for sharing this part of your family and life.
