Beautiful. Hysterical.

Beautiful storytelling laced with our indigenous humor- often we are outside looking in at the going ons of the bigger world and that is where the laughter lives. Looking thru an indigenous lens at this crazy world. Beautiful. Wado

Thank you for sharing your Ma’s stories

I love this podcast. It reminds me of being in the kitchen with my grandma and her siblings listening to family stories and laughing, sometimes crying, but feeling the link between me and my elders and ancestors strengthening. I love hearing the laughter bubbling out of Kaniehtiio as she pictures her Ma going through all these adventures. I am learning so much. Thank you to Kahn-Tineta for sharing your stories and your laughter and your strength and resilience with us. It means so much to listen to this podcast (as someone with indigenous ancestry but no direct connection to my family’s former culture) to be able to see from what you are generous enough to share, that some things survived in us.
