This is a good retelling of Chrono Trigger. Some of the adaptation of the game’s story reminds me of fan fiction.

As other reviewers have noted, this project does a great job of triggering the affection we all have for this game. The narrative is an unembellished interpretation of the game script (well, there are a few playful embellishements) supported by ACTUAL game sounds and songs. The latter are really effective at tapping into your memories. This is a beautiful and honest effort straight from someone's Chrono Trigger-loving heart.

If you loved the game and you listen to podcasts, this is a must listen. The story is told with a mixture of actual dialogue and some more original in-depth details. This is all accompanied by actual game sound effects and the iconic soundtrack to fully capture each chapter. Fans will also catch specific details mentioned for the attack strategies used for each given foe. I hope to see this podcast take off and spread to the fans. It’s a nostalgic trip!
