66 : You Are Never Alone: The 8 Archangels Standing With You Right Now

You Are Never Alone: Meet the 8 Archangels Surrounding You Right Now What if you've been carrying the weight alone — when in reality, you've had a divine support team standing around you this entire time? In this episode of Collective Guidance, host Charla Goodnight introduces a framework that completely shifts how she relates to the archangels: not as distant heavenly figures, but as an assembled team — already in position, already oriented toward your healing, protection, growth, and peace. Charla walks you through eight archangels, six of whom form a protective sphere around your body in every direction, and two whose cosmic roles deserve their own moment. IN THIS EPISODE: Michael | South | Behind You Your protector. He guards the direction you can't see — the vulnerabilities you didn't know you had. Call on Michael when you're facing fear, starting something new, or walking away from something familiar. Gabrielle | West | To Your Left The archangel of the heart and emotional clarity. Water energy. She calms doubt, dissolves resentment, and is a powerful ally for writers, speakers, and anyone who needs to have a difficult conversation. Raphael | East | To Your Right The healer. Neon green, air element. Call on Raphael not just for physical healing but before any creative project — he breathes fresh inspiration into everything you build. Uriel | North | Walking Ahead of You The path-clearer. Ruby red. Uriel works out front, scanning what's coming before you can see it. Call on him when you're facing financial stress or feel ungrounded. Raguel | Above You The archangel of harmony, justice, and peaceful order. Turquoise. Call on Raguel when things feel chaotic — in your home, relationships, or workplace. Chamuel | Beneath Your Feet Love, compassion, and forgiveness. Soft pink. He is the foundation you stand on with every step. Call on Chamuel when you need to forgive someone — or yourself. Metatron | Crown The king of archangels. Light gold. Call on Metatron during intense spiritual awakenings, when you need a direct line to the highest levels of guidance, or extra protection in the spiritual realm. Sandalphon | Root The archangel of the inner world. Violet and silver. Divine feminine. Call on Sandalphon when you've lost the thread of your soul's purpose, or when you need to reconnect with nature and the quiet truth of who you are. You don't need a religion. You don't need a ritual. You just need your willingness to reach out. MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: • Kari Samuels — Charla's teacher on the archangels • Sonia Choquette — author and spiritual teacher • Meg Benedict — Metatron teacher • The Kabbalah tradition and the Tree of Life CONNECT + SHARE: If this episode moved you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. 65: The World's Only Party Coach Says Partying Will Save Humanity

What's the real cure for the loneliness epidemic? According to Evan Cudworth — the world's first and only party coach — it's not a supplement, a meditation app, or a stricter morning routine. It's a party. In this conversation, host Charla sits down with Evan to explore why genuine human connection has become so hard to find, what it actually means to "party" (hint: it's not about alcohol), and how showing up for others is the fastest way to heal yourself. Evan brings a one-of-a-kind background to this work: University of Chicago graduate, former elite admissions officer who reviewed over 10,000 applications, 15 years embedded in underground rave culture, and the creator of The Party Within — a 7-step framework helping high-achieving adults rediscover joy, confidence, and real friendship without substances or anxiety. What You'll Hear in This Episode: Why Evan defines "party" as a temporary vibe shift with others — and why that definition changes everything  The 21-Day Wellness Bender: a sprint of 7 daily habits (cold showers, dancing alone in your room, calling 21 different people, complimenting strangers) that rebuilds your social wiring from the ground up How to make real friends as an adult — and why the best friendships are built on mess, not good vibes only Why going to an event alone and making someone else feel welcome is the single best thing you can do this weekend The Rule of Thirds: a third of parties are good, a third are mediocre, a third are bad — and why that's actually a law of nature, not a failure What Evan says to people in recovery who feel like sobriety cut them off from their social life Why "protecting your peace" too hard can quietly kill your connection How partying from the bottom up — drum circles, dance parties in the park, underground raves — is how humanity actually heals Key Takeaway: The party is not the destination. The party is the coach. It's the arena where all your therapy, all your personal growth, all your courage gets tested in real time, with real people. 64 : The Art of Talking to Source: How Prayer Transforms Your Life

In this episode, Charla Goodnight dives into one of the most powerful spiritual practices available to us — prayer — and reframes it in a way that may change how you think about your inner world forever. Charla explores the idea that every thought we have is a form of prayer and a conversation with Source. When we worry, we are sending energy toward the very things we fear. But when we consciously redirect that energy — turning our anxious thoughts into intentional communication with God, the universe, or our higher power — everything begins to shift. Drawing from her own daily practice and a song by Ali Maya ("Why Worry When You Can Pray"), Charla shares how she co-creates her reality through gratitude, intentional prayer, and quiet meditation that allows Source to speak back. What you'll hear in this episode: — How your thoughts are frequencies that attract more of what you focus on — The reticular activating system and why your brain shows you what you believe — A simple mindset shift: from worry to "Source, please sort this out for me" — The power of praying for others, your community, and the world — How daily gratitude prayer has shaped Charla's life and relationships This is a short, soul-nourishing episode meant to drop in, inspire, and remind you: prayer works. 63 : Your Human Design Blueprint: How to Stop Second-Guessing Every Decision

Have you ever made the smart decision — the one that checked every box — and still felt completely wrong doing it? In this episode of Collective Guidance, I sit down with Erin Claire Jones, one of the world's leading Human Design experts, to explore why so many of us feel like we're living someone else's life — and what Human Design reveals about who we actually are. Erin found Human Design at 25, sitting next to a stranger at a party in New York. She was skeptical. She worked in tech. She had a plan. But when that stranger read her chart, she says it was the most accurate, confronting, and insightful reading she had ever received. It changed everything. What we cover: What Human Design is — and what it isn't  The 5 types: Projector, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Manifester, and Reflector How to find your free Human Design chart Type, Strategy, and Authority — the three pieces you need to start Why inner authority changes everything about how you make decisions How Human Design explains chronic burnout What your design reveals about friction in your relationships How to parent your children honoring their unique design The line between honoring your design and hiding behind it 🔗 FREE HUMAN DESIGN CHART: humandesignblueprint.com  📖 ERIN'S BOOK "How Do You Choose": https://www.amazon.com/How-Do-You-Choose-Design/dp/0063412772 🎓 HUMAN DESIGN COURSE: https://humandesigngenius.circle.so/ 📲 FOLLOW ERIN: https://www.instagram.com/erinclairejones/ We'd love to hear from you! 💛 If you have a story to share, a question for the show, or just want to connect, reach out anytime: 🌐 Website: https://collectiveguidance.com/ 📩 Email: charla@collectiveguidance.com 📷 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/collectiveguidancepodcast/?hl=en 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/collective-guidance-with-charla-goodnight/id1841118592 📺 Watch on YouTube: www.youtube.com/@CollectiveGuidancePodcast

62: The Science of Sound Healing: How Music Rewires Your Nervous System

🎵 The Science & Spirituality of Sound: How Music Heals Your Nervous System What if the music you play every day is shaping your health, your mood, and your ability to manifest — whether you're paying attention or not? In this episode, Charla Goodnight dives into the intersection of neuroscience and soul to explain why sound is so much more than entertainment. Your body is approximately 60% water — a perfect conductor of vibration — and every sound you experience moves through your cells, your tissues, and your entire being. 🔬 THE SCIENCE: Harvard researchers have found that music activates nearly all regions of the brain simultaneously — the hippocampus, the amygdala, the limbic system, and the motor cortex. More importantly, the emotional quality of the music you listen to directly influences your autonomic nervous system: the system running quietly in the background, deciding whether you are safe. 🌍 THE FREQUENCIES: Most modern music is tuned to 440 Hz (the international standard since the mid-20th century). Ancient instruments, Tibetan singing bowls, and the works of Mozart, Verdi, and Beethoven were tuned closer to 432 Hz — Earth's natural frequency — shown to reduce anxiety and induce alpha brainwave states associated with creativity and relaxation The 528 Hz frequency — called the Love Frequency or Miracle Tone — is associated with the heart chakra, emotional release, and stress reduction. In numerology, 5+2+8 = 6, the number of love. 🎧 MUSIC RECOMMENDATIONS: Ali Maya — Why Worry When You Can Pray Mary Isis (spiritual music) 528 Hz and 432 Hz ambient/healing music (available on most streaming platforms) 💡 THE TAKEAWAY: Music is input. Your body receives it whether you're listening intentionally or not. Ask yourself: does the music I play make me feel alive and ready — or does it overstimulate and drain me? Use sound as a conscious tool for regulation, healing, and elevation. Want to connect with us? 61 : From Hedge Funds to Nervous System Healing | Trauma Recovery, MDMA Therapy & The Male Mental Health Crisis

Steve Sapourn spent nearly three decades in high finance — hedge funds, quantitative trading, and overseeing hundreds of millions in private capital. On paper, he had everything. Underneath, he was running from childhood trauma he didn't have words for yet. In this episode, Steve sits down with Charla to share the journey from his high-performance exterior to radical inner healing — including long-term childhood sexual abuse, witnessing a mass murder at six years old, decades of addiction, and the psychedelic breakthrough at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert that finally cracked him open. Steve is now the host of The Neuro's Journey podcast, dedicated to nervous system healing, trauma recovery, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. --- IN THIS EPISODE WE COVER: How childhood trauma fuels high achievement — and why some of the most successful founders carry the deepest wounds  The moment achieving every goal made Steve MORE depressed — and what that reveals What trauma actually is: a brain adaptation, not a character flaw The male mental health crisis: record rates of isolation, addiction, and suicide What the patriarchy cost men — emotional authenticity, real relationships, and their health MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD: what it feels like, what it heals, and why it works Neuroplasticity explained simply: how the brain forms new pathways and how psychedelics accelerate that window Why integration is the most skipped and most important part of any psychedelic experience The "achievement brain" vs. the "awakened brain" — and Dr. Lisa Miller's research showing spirituality reduces anxiety and depression by up to 90% in high-risk individuals Why regulating your own nervous system is the most powerful thing a leader, partner, or parent can do What it means to forgive the person who hurt you — and why it's not about them --- NOTABLE QUOTES: *"You've looked at yourself as broken and damaged your entire life. You're not. A lot of things happened to you — you've been taking them like they happened to you. They actually happened for you."* *"I had a nervous system that was not reacting to reality. It was reacting to things that happened to me when I was four and five."* *"What the patriarchy really did to men was tell us we can't have our feelings. It gave the owners of things compliant workers."* *"A real man doesn't start fights, he stops them. His power is uplifting — so the people around him feel safe enough to take risks and be themselves."* --- RESOURCES MENTIONED: The Awakened Brain by Dr. Lisa Miller  Neurofeedback for trauma healing MDMA-assisted therapy — currently legal for therapeutic use in Colorado The Neuro's Journey Podcast — available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon, and YouTube --- 🎙️ FOLLOW STEVE SAPOURN: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theneurosjourney/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheNeurosJourney Website: https://theneurosjourney.com/ Apple Podcast: https://theneurosjourney.com/ Spotify : https://open.spotify.com/show/15IKS2S4LVv6O7aGLCxIW3   🎙️ FOLLOW COLLECTIVE GUIDANCE: We'd love to hear from you! 💛 If you have a story to share, a question for the show, or just want to connect, reach out anytime: 🌐 Website: https://collectiveguidance.com/ 📩 Email: charla@collectiveguidance.com 📷 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/collectiveguidancepodcast/?hl=en 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/collective-guidance-with-charla-goodnight/id1841118592 📺 Watch on YouTube: www.youtube.com/@CollectiveGuidancePodcast --- *If this episode stirred something in you, share it with the man in your life — a partner, brother, father, or son. 60: You Are Not Broken: Loving the Parts of Yourself You've Been Fighting

What if the most radical act of self-improvement... is to stop trying to improve yourself? In this deeply personal episode, Charla Goodnight — mindset and wellness educator with 30 years of experience — challenges the foundational belief of the self-help industry: that we are broken, and that growth means fixing. Drawing from the therapeutic framework of IFS (Internal Family Systems), Charla explores why every part of you — the people-pleaser, the inner critic, the overachiever, the one that shuts down — is not a flaw. It's a protector. A part that learned, usually very early in life, that this behavior was the only way to stay safe, loved, and survive. IN THIS EPISODE: Why "doing the work" can secretly become a war against yourself  What IFS (Internal Family Systems) teaches us about our inner world The crucial difference between selective acceptance and true wholeness Why your inner critic is not your enemy — it's working overtime to protect you Charla's raw personal story about over-giving in a relationship and what she learned A simple practice to meet your hardest parts with curiosity instead of contempt KEY TAKEAWAY: The moment you stop fighting the parts of yourself you don't like, and start getting curious about them, those parts begin to shift — not because you forced them to, but because they finally feel safe enough to relax. YOUR CHALLENGE THIS WEEK: The next time one of your patterns shows up — the people-pleasing, the shrinking, the inner critic — instead of going to war with it, get curious. Ask: what is this part of me trying to protect me from? Then offer it just a little compassion. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to look at it without flinching. Have you ever looked at your life from the outside and thought — this looks fine — yet something underneath just feels off?
