In this heartfelt and grounding episode, host Charla Goodnight explores the relationship between prayer and meditation — and how both practices became her lifeline during personal conflict and relationship pain. Inspired by a quote from Rick Rubin — "Prayer is talking to God. Meditation is listening" — Charla unpacks what it truly means to find stillness, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with your soul during life's most challenging moments. Charla opens up about navigating a significant argument in a two-year relationship, how she prayed for resolution, and how leaning on her angels, guides, and spiritual support system brought peace within 24 hours. She also shares a powerful reframe for anyone grieving the end of a relationship: it's not a loss — it's a change in frequency. What You'll Hear in This Episode: The difference between prayer and meditation (and why you need both) Charla's personal pre-meditation breathwork routine How conflict affects your nervous system — and how to come back to center Why relationships end when frequencies can no longer align How to grieve a relationship ending from a soul-level perspective A beginner-friendly 1-minute meditation using box breathing Box Breathing (Try It Today): Inhale 4 counts | Hold 6 counts | Exhale 6 counts. 73 : You Are Not Alone — How to Call on Your Angels When Life Gets Hard

When you're standing at a crossroads and you don't know which way to go, what do you do? In this short and deeply comforting episode, Charla Goodnight shares a personal story about a pivotal moment in her own life — and the spiritual practice that helped her move through it without fear, without force, and without going it alone. Rather than reacting or making a rash decision, Charla prayed. She called on her angels, her ascended masters, and her spiritual board of directors. She shifted her attention to things that raised her frequency — and she trusted. Less than 24 hours later, the situation dissolved completely. Not because she fixed it. Because she let spirit handle it. This episode is a reminder that you came into this human experience with a full team of energy and frequency behind you. You are never without support. And the moment you stop feeding a problem with lower vibrational energy and turn it over to the universe, you create space for miracles. Charla also shares what she's been learning from Wayne Dyer and A Course in Miracles — that there is never really a problem, only a frequency we hold toward a situation — and closes with a stunning Rumi card pull from the Rumi Oracle by Alana Fairchild: Beyond the Threshold of Fear. Topics covered in this episode: how to call on your angels and guides during major life transitions, the practice of surrender and releasing control to spirit, how your frequency creates or dissolves problems, the teachings of Wayne Dyer and A Course in Miracles on miracles and perception, and the Rumi card Beyond the Threshold of Fear and its message for anyone in transition. 72 : Behind the Mask: How High Performers Recognize Hidden Trauma and Finally Heal

What happens when the person who holds everything together finally falls apart? For Kara Kalin, it took two tumors, the loss of her father, a global pandemic, and four kids under five before she finally stopped performing and started actually living. Kara is a registered clinical counselor, certified EMDR therapist, former national-level synchronized swimmer, and founder of The Shift Change — an anonymous group EMDR platform that is bringing trauma healing to first responders, healthcare workers, elite athletes, and high performers who would never otherwise ask for help. In this conversation, Kara takes us all the way back to age 10 — performing through what we now know as secondary drowning and being publicly shamed on a pool deck — and walks us through how that single moment planted a seed of "not good enough" that shaped the next 27 years of her life. From eating disorders and control-seeking in adolescence, to caregiving through her husband's grief, to nearly working herself into the ground while coaching Team Canada and running a private practice without ever taking a maternity leave — Kara was the definition of a high-functioning, highly traumatized person. It was EMDR that changed everything. First at 18, when she processed the image of her father's death. And again at 37, when she finally traced decades of defensiveness, over-performance, and body-based panic back to that pool deck in Edmonton. What she found on the other side — a spiritual reckoning, a rebuilt life, and a mission to bring healing to the people least likely to seek it — is nothing short of extraordinary. 71 : Why Your Anger Is Hurting YOU (Not Them) : Forgive & Let Go

Radical Forgiveness: Why Your Anger Is Hurting You, Not Them Life is full of transitions — and this week, Charla is in the thick of them. Her middle son just graduated high school, a new baby has joined the family, and she's sitting with the full range of emotions that come with big change. But the real conversation this episode is about what happens when we hold onto anger toward someone who has hurt us — and why that anger is only affecting one person: you. Charla shares a deeply personal story about encountering someone she'd had significant conflict with after months apart, and choosing radical compassion over resentment. Drawing from a daily devotional called A Deep Breath of Life by Alan Cohen and a moving quote by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, this episode offers a gentle but powerful reframe on forgiveness, compassion, and how we see the people who challenge us most. What we cover in this episode: why holding anger hurts you and not the other person, the practice of looking into someone's eyes to reconnect with their humanity, how IFS (Internal Family Systems) helps explain wounded behavior in others, the difference between being in "victim" energy versus seeing the bigger picture, and a simple daily mirror practice to cultivate self-love and self-forgiveness. Quote from this episode: "If we could read the secret histories of our enemies, we should find in each man's life sorrow, suffering, enough to disarm all hostility." — Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Connect with Collective Guidance: 🌐 Website: https://collectiveguidance.com/ 📩 Email: charla@collectiveguidance.com 📷 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/collectiveguidancepodcast/?hl=en 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/collective-guidance-with-charla-goodnight/id1841118592 📺 Watch on YouTube: www.youtube.com/@CollectiveGuidancePodcast   💫 JOIN THE COLLECTIVE MEMBERSHIP: Weekly movement + meditation Zooms with Charla.  https://collectiveguidance.com/collective-membership-1289 If this episode spoke to you, please leave a review on Apple Podcasts, follow the show on Spotify, and share it with someone who might need it today.

70 : The Ancient Secret to Manifestation Nobody Talks About

What does it really mean to manifest? If you've been doing vision boards, affirmations, and the 333 method but still not seeing results — this episode is for you. Today's guest is Ayelet Polonsky, founder of the Manifestation Method and host of The Manifestation Podcast (163+ episodes). Ayelet spent years living at an ashram in India, survived a cyclone at Kumbh Mela (one of the world's largest spiritual gatherings of 50 million Hindus), and eventually found her way to Jerusalem where she studied Torah and Kabbalah — and manifested her husband in 21 days. In this episode, Ayelet breaks down the ancient spiritual technology of Kabbalah and how it maps perfectly onto modern quantum physics, neuroscience, and nervous system work. She explains why true manifestation isn't about wanting more — it's about becoming the frequency of what you desire. What You'll Learn: The difference between manifestation and co-creation — and why it changes everything What B'tselem Elohim means and how being made in the image of God makes you a creator The Kabbalistic Tree of Life (sefirot) and how desire moves from idea into physical reality The ABRA Method broken down: Ask, Believe, Receive, Aligned Action The 3 C's blocking your manifestation: complaining, comparing, controlling The dark chrysalis phase — what it is, why it's necessary, and how to move through it The science of your electromagnetic field and heart-brain coherence The meaning of Abracadabra in ancient Aramaic and why your words are creating your reality 3 steps to manifest a relationship starting today The difference between emunah (faith) and bitachon (embodied trust) Connect with Ayelet Polonsky:  🌐 Website & Membership: ayeletpolonsky.com 📱 Instagram: instagram.com/ayeletpolonsky 🎙️ Podcast: https://www.youtube.com/@AyeletPolonsky Connect with Collective Guidance: 🌐 Website: https://collectiveguidance.com/ 📩 Email: charla@collectiveguidance.com 📷 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/collectiveguidancepodcast/?hl=en 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/collective-guidance-with-charla-goodnight/id1841118592 📺 Watch on YouTube: www.youtube.com/@CollectiveGuidancePodcast 💫 JOIN THE COLLECTIVE MEMBERSHIP: Weekly movement + meditation Zooms with Charla.  https://collectiveguidance.com/collective-membership-1289 About Ayelet Polonsky: Ayelet Polonsky is the founder of the Manifestation Method — a deeply transformative approach to manifestation that blends Kabbalah, somatics, and modern psychology.
