7 Tips For Sustainable Revenue this Summer

What would a sustainable summer look like to you?

Last year was all about “hot girl summer”, but this year I feel like we all want a sustainable summer.

Here’s what I mean by sustainable summer: being able to be present on vacation, take days off, spend time with loved ones, serve your clients, and get more ideal clients. A sustainable summer is knowing that you can do what you want when you want and know that your business is still running.

In this episode, I’m taking a deeper look at what a sustainable summer (and business) looks like and sharing my 7 tips for sustainable revenue this summer.

If you need help clocking out this summer, this is for you.

Unlearning Being Performative with Paula Shepherd

Unlearning Being Performative with Paula Shepherd

Are you performing or are you being intentional about how you show up?

Throughout our lives, society has been rewarding us for being performative. As a student, you got an award for perfect attendance, and as an employee, you got a raise for working around the clock. It’s not surprising that we bring these habits into our businesses, but it’s time to unlearn these behaviors.

I’m joined by Paula Shepherd to talk about unlearning the need to be performative. We both learned the hard way that trying to be everywhere and do everything will only lead to burnout. We’re sitting down together to talk about how to identify what you need to change, show up more meaningfully, and avoid burnout.

Paula Shepherd is a certified and credentialed business communication coach, leadership mentor, and host of the highly-rated podcast, “The Confidence Sessions.” She helps high-achieving business owners across the globe develop value-driven businesses that scale their impact by simply using their voice. Paula believes that success is simple when you learn to boldly communicate and prioritize powerful, lasting connections.

If you’re ready to unlearn the need to be performative, just tune in.

Staying True To You: The Color Your Dreams® Approach

Staying True To You: The Color Your Dreams® Approach

Are you staying true to yourself?

If that’s hard for you to answer, don’t worry. In this episode, I’m sharing the Color Your Dreams® approach to staying true to you.

The pandemic has prompted us to take a look at our lives and ask ourselves if we’re staying true to ourselves at a societal level and an individual level. If you’ve been here before, you know that I believe in honoring my ancestors through how I live my life, and being true to myself is a big part of that.

There are four pillars to this approach that you can prioritize according to your own situation, lived experience, and what makes sense for you. This episode is here to serve you, so I want you to use it however it works best for you.

If you feel out of alignment with your life and business, this is for you.

Burnout, Grief, and Realigning Your Life with Tricia Chinnici

Burnout, Grief, and Realigning Your Life with Tricia Chinnici

Do two years of a pandemic have you feeling burnt out?
I know that I’ve been feeling burnt out, and I’ve also had to grieve the loss of someone close to me during the pandemic, which I know so many of you have too. The loss of a loved one often causes us to realign and reevaluate what’s really important in life, so let’s do a little bit of that realigning and reevaluating together.
In this episode, my guest, Tricia Chinnici, and I are getting real and raw. We’re sharing our experiences with grief as well as burnout, transitions, and seasons of life. Grief and burnout don’t come with handbooks on how to deal with them, so we want to share some of what we’ve learned with the hope that it could help you too.
Tricia Chinnici is a coach for sensitive and creative small business owners, and also the host of the podcast "It's Not Business, It's Personal." She was a creative director for 7 years before deciding to lean into her Highly Sensitive superpowers and leave the burnout behind. Now as a successful business coach, her goal is to flip the script on how we talk about business by removing the toxic hustle culture and one-size-fits-all mentality and adding more focus on creativity, fulfillment, authenticity, empathy, and mental health. As an artist, HSP, and Enneagram 4 she truly believes that you don't have to change who you are to be successful and that your business should work for *you.*
If you’re struggling to get through your grief or burnout, this is for you.
