    2 Weeks of Wild Love -- Day 1

    Wild Love Rebellion was my band during the 90's. For me, and for the other guys in the band, it wasn't just about the music-- it was about igniting change. Our biggest hope was that people would walk away from our shows feeling something. We wanted people to talk.  When Los Angeles locked everything down in Mid-March 2020, I decided that instead of just collapsing (I was just recovering from Covid-19 after about 6 weeks of feeling like I might die...), I wanted to dig back into those old times with WLR. I read from my book "Wild Love Words" and each day would play a song from the album "Wake UP...or let me sleep!".   It was fun to share the lyrics and little stories about what was going on in my life or with the band at the time it was written.     Comic Book Corner Reviewing "Criminal" by Brubaker and Phillips

    Comic Book Corner is the only review show to focus on extended runs, trade paperbacks, and even the occasional omnibus rather than just single issues of the best stuff available in the comic book world. Since all my live viewers are likely stuck inside-- just like me-- due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I wanted to make sure that when you got a recommendation from this show that it would be something you could spend some quality time with.  It's no secret that I am a huge fan of all the books put out by Ed Brubaker and  Sean Phillips, so starting this show with a discussion of their work but focusing on the most recent run of their signature series "Criminal" seems very natural.  Comic Book Corner also interviews the most awesome talents in the comics industry!  #ComicBookCorner #Comics #Comicreview #livestream #podcast #reviewshow #extendedruns #EdBrubaker #SeanPhillips #Criminal
