Send us Fan Mail WEEK 3: SEASON STARTS AT HOME The wait is over. Command the Commute is finally back where it belongs — in the car, on the way to the game. Bob and Mike hit record at 7:30 AM and head south toward Northwest Stadium for Washington’s home opener against Seattle. The coffee is dangerously hot, the rain is coming down, the optimism levels inside the vehicle are wildly different, and after an 0–2 start, Washington desperately needs something to feel good about. We put the Dallas loss in the rearview — including the gut punch of the JD5 elbow injury — and talk through what went right, what went wrong, and what Washington looks like while its quarterback is sidelined. Then it’s around the NFL for Can’t Lose Locks, Week 3 picks, injuries and everything else happening across the league before we get to the Commute Breakdown for Seattle. Can Washington slow down Seattle’s passing attack? Can the defense finally create a turnover? Does the run game have to carry the offense?
