    Good or God

    We often settle for good-enough and miss God’s best for our life. We live below God’s blessing because we don’t understand God’s best. It doesn’t make sense in our paradigm, or in our wisdom. We think we know best how to spend our money, manage our time, and plan for our future, etc. So, what is the Lord’s will for your life? Can you always get an answer? Pastor Heath gives practical tips from 2 Samuel 7 about knowing God's will and praying prayers God will answer. Check your wants, ask for wisdom, pray for a word, then worship and work.

    Appointed and Anointed

    Did you know every Christian is appointed and anointed by God for His purposes? However, we may not know what we are called to or may not feel confident in our call. In addition, sometimes we grow weak and weary because we have been trying to perform in our own power instead of the power God has for us. Whether parent or grandparent, employee or employer, church volunteer or pastor, God has a purpose and power for us. What have you been appointed to do in this season? Are you walking in the anointing for it?

    Unflinching and Unwavering

    Is there anything the Holy Spirit is warning you about today? How do we avoid falling into the compromises of sin? The Holy Spirit is the voice of God who convicts of sin and leads us in righteousness, according to His Word. The prophets repeatedly told Israel to wait on God and worship Him only. Such was the story of Samuel and King Saul. Pastor Heath teaches on the fear of the Lord, waiting on the Lord, and obeying the voice of the Lord.
