INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION & RELIGIOUS IMPACT ON THE FIRST FLEET THE AUSTRALIA PROJECT 02 WITH DR CHRISTOPHER REYNOLDS & STEVEN TRIPP The Australia Project is a unique blend of Australian history, politics and philosophy that aims to explain our unique past and our journey as a country up until the present. Through this historical journey, we can also look to the future and explore a solutions-based approach to where Australia evolves to next. Hosted by President of Australians for Better Government, Steven Tripp, the Australia Project features political philosopher and notable Australian historian, Dr Christopher Reynolds. Having completed a PHD in Constitutional Law, Dr Reynolds is the only Australian to have worked in the US Congress and White House, alongside the likes of Mitch McConnell, Joe Biden and Teddy Kennedy. Later, Dr Reynolds returned to Australia to work within the NSW Parliament and also as the mastermind behind many notable public campaigns. In recent years, Dr Reynolds has turned his extensive knowledge and training in research to Australian history, leading with his book, 'What a Capital Idea: Australia 1770-1901', which accounts the true history of Australia pre-Federation, based purely on primary source material. Dr Reynolds now has a new book on the way, which extends upon this history, 'Leaders and Larrikins: Great Australian Stories'. ABOUT AUSTRALIANS FOR BETTER GOVERNMENT Australians for Better Government is a non-partisan advocacy organisation dedicated to reforming Australia’s democratic processes. Through education, public events, and policy advocacy, ABG works to promote greater accountability, transparency, and genuine representation in government for the benefit of all Australians. Elected Members of Parliament often serve their own ambitions, or the will of their political party, rather than faithfully representing the interests and concerns of their constituents. We will begin the discussion to fix that.
