Great podcast

Truly at the top of my list for food related podcasts. The most recent interview with Kim Severson is amazing, so fierce, touching and relatable. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 30+ years, and every episode has been expansive and cathartic for me in some way.

Nancy Silverton

I just finished listening to your Nancy Silverton episode. I begged for a copy of Breads from LaBrea Bakery when it was first published, then was intimidated by the process of making sourdough starter. After hearing your interview with her, I’m inspired. Thank you for a entertaining and informative podcast. I’m excited to start baking (in two weeks, after the starter is ready, of course).

You and the guests

Kat I love this podcast. I love food history and learning about the people behind these great restaurants. I really enjoy how you address real issues and are empathic to the African American community, the interaction is not elitess in nature and very approachable . I hope to meet you one day. Travis
