During the conversation, Sarah explains how her personal passion for environmental issues led her to this work, and shares the ways that Vermonters can benefit from the programs and initiatives offered by Efficiency Vermont.

Eileen welcomes Jack Leonard, Senior Maintenance Technician at Downstreet. Jack shares some stories from his 14 years working for Downstreet, the joy he feels working with old buildings, and his passion for helping our amazing residents.

U32 Middle and High School Principal Steven Dellinger-Pate joins us to share his perspective on the school experience in Vermont during COVID, as well as some insights on how our community can support our schools and youth today and into the future.

In the spirit of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we invited Diane Kinney, Co-Director of Circle to discuss her work supporting people experiencing domestic violence. Diane is a passionate advocate and a straight shooter – her conversation with Eileen is well worth a listen. 

Downstreet’s Eileen Peltier is joined by Dr. Mark Depman, Emergency Medicine Doctor and Project Director for the Rural Communities Opioid Response project at the Central Vermont Medical Center. Dr. Depman shares information about our community’s innovative programs to support those with substance use disorder and where we as a community and state can do more.
