They were raised that way.     Grief with Prof. Mattison

    Since the pandemic began, no one is unfamiliar to the feeling of loss and the subsequent grieving process. Over the past two years most people have loss something whether that loss be physical, metaphorical, emotional, or financial. So much so you start to ask your self is it okay to feel this way or are you being silly.... Is it okay to grieve this lost friendship? Is it okay to grieve the breakup?  Hell is it okay to grieve me losing my job even though I been late my last 10 shifts lol?  The answer is Yes!     Bad Bodied Self Esteem for When Affirmations Ain't Enouf

    Toxic Forgiveness Maybe?

    Often times we look at forgiveness as a cornerstone to healing but is that realistic?  Some things that happen to us effect us at our very core, making it impossible for us to "return" to our original state..... when thinking of these things how can something so earth shattering be forgiven? And why would my healing be contingent on giving someone else a pass? I believe that often times people can't forgive and heal because we don't allow them too...
