    F.L.C.T. (Green Ash)

    F.L.C.T. (Green Ash)

This week we are closing out our Winter ‘21 Collection with the green ash (Fraxinus pennsylvanica). Though an immensely popular ornamental and street tree, this tree is a huge component of our forest ecosystems, and the invasion of an insect killing them off has had interesting waves throughout the forest. We talk ecosystem ramifying this week and discuss how little, seemingly innocuous, unconnected events can ripple through the forest ecosystem.

Trees are fun (and these guys are, too)

As a tree enthusiast I was excited to see this podcast start and I’m delighted at its success. This podcast makes dendrology, arboriculture, and botany accessible and makes me want to learn more about trees from other regions.

Great podcast to laugh and learn to!

This podcast is dope! Alex just dropped a new theme song for their family tree game, it’s exquisite! Y’all need to check this out, very entertaining!

Hands down my favorite podcast

Casey and Alex make learning about trees SO. FUN. Their excitement is infectious and they constantly make me smile while listening to Completely Arbortrary. Plus I’ve been able to apply things I’ve learned here in my botany class which is super helpful. Keep up the great work!
