    I introduce myself as a Canadian-born, NYC-based, Emmy Award-winning composer and jazz pianist, and explain why I wanted to start this podcast by, for, and about composers and their related industry peers. I also give some information about my background and about what's in store. Music featured in this podcast: - INTRO MUSIC: my piece "Hopes and Dreams: Main Section and Conclusion" (excerpt) from my CD "Suite for New York" (Justin Time) - CLOSING MUSIC: "Ma Mere L'Oye" (Ravel) for solo piano, plus my added string quartet arrangement.
