Finding Peace in Uncertainty with Ellie Workman Pulido

What happens when the life you know changes overnight? In this episode, I'm joined by Ellie Workman Pulido for a heartfelt conversation about loss, uncertainty, resilience, and learning how to trust life when the path ahead isn't clear. After losing her home in the Palisades fires, Ellie found herself navigating a season she never could have anticipated. Together, we explore what it looked like to move through grief, let go of certainty, and continue showing up for life one day at a time. What I appreciated the most about this conversation is Ellie's willingness to meet such a profound loss with openness, honesty, and grace. Rather than resisting what had happened, she shares how she learned to work with what was in front of her, finding moments of meaning, connection, and even peace amidst the uncertainty. Throughout our conversation, we discuss the reality of grief, the ways loss can feel isolating, and how life's most difficult seasons often invite us into a deeper relationship with ourselves, with others, and with life itself. Inside this episode: Navigating grief after an unexpected loss Learning to live with uncertainty Finding meaning in life's most challenging seasons Why acceptance is not the same as giving up The freedom that can come from releasing the need for certainty Trusting yourself when you don't have all the answers Recognizing the support that exists even in difficult moments Continuing to move forward when life looks different than you imagined If you've ever experienced loss, change, uncertainty, or found yourself asking, "How do I move forward from here?" I hope this conversation reminds you that you're not alone. Follow me on Instagram @morgantylerking for more daily inspiration. Interested in working with Morgan? The Truth About Success, Burnout & Putting Joy First | With Laura Conley

Have you ever achieved something you thought would make you happy, only to realize you still weren't fulfilled? Or found yourself attaching your worth to the results you're creating, believing that if you could just accomplish enough, achieve enough, or get the outcome you wanted, then you could finally relax? In this episode, I'm joined by Laura Conley, who is the founder and CEO of Laura Conley Coaching and creator of The Yummy Mummy Weight Loss Method, a coaching program that helps women lose weight for the last time without obsession, restriction, or starting over every Monday. During our time together, we have a powerful conversation about success, burnout, joy, and what it truly means to create a fulfilling life. Laura shares how a launch that didn't go as planned helped her recognize just how much of her identity had become attached to her results. What initially felt like a failure ultimately became one of the greatest gifts because it gave her the awareness to separate who she is from what she achieves. We also talk about her experience with burnout, why she chose slow as her word of the year, and the importance of putting joy first instead of waiting for some future outcome to finally allow ourselves to enjoy our lives. Inside this episode: How to recognize when your worth has become attached to your results Why a "failed" launch became one of Laura's greatest teachers What burnout taught her about success and fulfillment Why slow is her word of the year The importance of intentionally prioritizing joy How to stop postponing your life while pursuing your dreams The reminder that peace, love, and fulfillment aren't waiting at the finish line If you've ever felt caught between pursuing your goals and enjoying your life, this conversation is for you! Your Life Already Knows the Path Meant for You

What if you've been looking outside yourself for answers that have been within you all along? Many of us have been taught to compare our lives to others, follow someone else's blueprint, and believe we should be good at everything, but what if that was never the point? Each of us has a unique set of gifts, desires, strengths, and experiences that make us who we are. We all have an internal guidance system that is constantly trying to lead us toward the life that is meant for us, and the challenge is that its guidance often looks very different than what society tells us it should. In this episode, we're exploring what it means to trust your own path, stop measuring yourself against others, and honor the unique role you're here to play. Inside this episode, we'll discuss: Why every person has their own unique curriculum in life The internal guidance system available to all of us Why comparison pulls us away from our authentic selves The freedom that comes from realizing you were never meant to be good at everything How to trust your desires, even when you can't yet see the evidence Why appearances aren't always telling the full story The importance of staying the course and trusting your timing Why peace isn't waiting for you at the next milestone You wouldn't compare a frog to a bird as they each have their own gifts, their own purpose, and their own way of moving through the world. The same is true for you. Before You Add Another Practice, First Look at How You're Living

Most of us were handed the same story early on: work harder, do more, achieve enough - and eventually, your life will feel the way you want it to feel. So we did. We added more, pushed through, kept going, and somewhere along the way, we started to notice that no matter how much we did - something still felt like it was missing. In this episode, I want to offer you a different truth. One that I had to learn through my own exhaustion, my own body finally saying enough, and my own slow, gentle discovery that the life I was searching for wasn't found through more effort. It was found in the moments I finally allowed myself to stop. In this episode, we talk about: The story we were all taught about how life gets better, and why it quietly keeps us stuck How the belief that your worth lives in your output shapes everything, including your nervous system Why you can know everything about burnout and still be burned out, and what actually shifts things The difference between managing around your exhaustion and being willing to stop what's causing it Why allowing yourself to stop is not giving up, it's the most courageous thing you can do One question to carry with you long after this episode ends This conversation is for the woman who has been trying so hard for so long and is quietly wondering why it still doesn't feel like enough. I hope it lands like a permission slip to put something down that you were never meant to carry in the first place. Whether you've been listening for a while or this is your first episode, welcome. I'm so glad you're here. Ready to experience what stopping actually feels like? Download Your Permission to Slow Down.
