Understanding Body Identical or Bio-Identical HRT: Body identical and bio-identical HRT refer to hormone replacement therapies that use hormones chemically identical to those naturally produced by the body. We delve into each one and what makes these treatments unique and their potential advantages. Side Effects of HRT: Like any medical intervention, HRT with synthetic ingredients can come with potential side effects. We discuss common side effects and clarify the structural difference between HRT.  Synthetic vs. Natural Progesterone: It's crucial to know whether you're taking synthetic or natural progesterone during HRT. We explore how, against the odds, she emerged from the high-risk category, needing statins, to a life with minimal pharmaceuticals and, excitingly, daily bowel movements. Key Points: Initial Struggles: Donna opens up about the challenges she faced with chronic intestinal pain, frequent hospital visits, and a reliance on powerful medications, including Morphine. Digestive Challenges: In addition to the pain, Donna reveals her battle with chronic constipation, detailing the extent of her struggle, including relying on 4-5 sachets of laxatives a day. At one point, she was consuming a staggering 12 sachets daily just to manage her symptoms before her colonic hydrotherapy sessions.
