The podcast and book were started with my patients in mind.  Due to time restrictions, I  recognized the need for more education on fibromyalgia and related illnesses. If you have not checked out the book, the podcast is meant to supplement what was covered there. Many people worldwide will never be able to see me as their doctor, and I hope this podcast offers valuable insights, information, and wisdom from a medical doctor using a multifaceted evidence-based approach from the perspective of a pediatrician, internist, lifestyle medicine physician, and clinical lipidologist. If you are a doctor or another health care professional caring for those with invisible illnesses, I hope these serve you well.  Many people have either been told or read that fibromyalgia isn't real or that it is just all in their heads. This misunderstanding, unfortunately, causes harm and is a disservice to those suffering. If you are one of the estimated more than 10 million people in the United States who are suffering from fibromyalgia, then you know it is real. If you don't have fibromyalgia, you will, at a minimum, gain a deeper understanding of what you or your loved one is experiencing. If you have fibromyalgia, you will feel validated for what you have endured. I have over 27 years of experience as a doctor and am continuing to learn about medical problems, including invisible illnesses like fibromyalgia and related problems.  You can learn more by visiting www.conqueringyourfibromyalgia.com.

So grateful for this podcast

Dr. Lenz and his work have been a lifeline for me. Being diagnosed with this mysterious fibromyalgia can make you feel invisible and alone. I felt as though I was left to my own devices until I found this podcast more than a year ago. Dr. Lenz has reputable professionals and FMS patients as guests on the podcast which gives me hope to keep searching for a solution, an answer, and some direction. Of all the medical conditions Dr. Lenz could have chosen, I am grateful that he has laser focused on “Conquering Your Fibromyalgia.”

Great podcast

You can learn a lot this podcast on Fibromyalgia. This may come in useful if suffering with it yourself, know someone who is struggling, or are just curious on what it is. Also, guest speaker Luke Thompson was a pleasure to listen to. He is right there is a over arching narrative that can give guidance and hope in this life, namely Jesus Christ. Without Christ and the objective standard and morality that comes from his written word (the Bible), there is nothing but self and random emotions, and we can see how well that is working for society today.

I enjoyed it but

You interrupt the women on your podcast so much. The first episode I listened to it was yourself and another male. The male was talking about his severe back pain, and how he made it through all that most of the episode was him speaking however, the next episode, I listened to was you and a female. And it was difficult for me to make it through the episode because she was constantly interrupted and almost the entire interview. Was you speaking when it should’ve been her because the interview was about her book.
