Conscious Christian Conversations

Kylene Terhune and Tanya Paynter

Do you ever wonder if you're the only person who has questions about the Christian faith? Do you sometimes question why you believe what you believe? Or maybe not even know exactly what you DO believe? Whether you're a new believer, a mature Christian, or someone who's just searching for that "something more" you know is out there, we all have questions. And those questions prompted us to begin the Conscious Christian Conversations podcast with Tanya & Kylene! We are 2 spunky Christians with diverse backgrounds and life experiences who want to encourage each other (and you) to challenge your subconscious beliefs. We believe the Bible is Truth. We believe Jesus is the Son of God who came to redeem us. And we also believe it’s important to question everything we believe so that we know exactly what it is that we believe, why, and where it comes from. While we may have different thoughts and opinions on many points of theology, we both agree wholeheartedly on rooting everything in the word of God and the foundation of salvation. Everything else? Well, it's absolutely essential to ponder and pray about but in the end, if it isn't a matter of salvation, it's ok to challenge what you believe (and even change your beliefs if you discover that it doesn't hold up under close scrutiny). This podcast is not to preach and not to teach - we're just two girls having a conversation of discovery around questions we have about the Christian faith... and why we hold the beliefs we do.
