From Self Hatred to Self Love

What does it take to go from wishing you weren't here — to becoming your own greatest love? In this episode, I share the raw truth of growing up disconnected from myself: feeling left out, without belonging, and carrying weight that was never really about food. It was protection. A way of surviving a world where I didn't feel safe being me. Today, that story looks completely different. I love myself deeply. I revere myself. I never betray myself. And the relationship I have with my husband reflects that back to me every day — because the relationship we have with others is always a mirror of the one we have with ourselves. So how did I get here? Through the RISE Method — the framework at the heart of my book — built on four pillars: R – Remember Divine Energy: Reconnecting to the truth of who you are beyond your wounds, your conditioning, and your story.I – Inner Child Wisdom: Listening to the younger parts of you that are still waiting to be seen, held, and loved.S – Sacred Higher Self: Accessing the version of you that already knows the way — the one who hasn't forgotten.E – Embodiment of True Self: Not just knowing these things in your mind, but living them in your body, your choices, your life.Once I committed to the work, something shifted. I started being guided. And I learned to listen. I've explored every therapy, every modality, every healing path. The RISE Method is what worked — and it's what I've poured into my book so you can use it too. Nervous System Wisdom

For years, my nervous system has taken me on a journey—one I didn’t even realize I was on at first. There were seasons where I was completely dysregulated… when my system felt like it was in shambles. During my divorce, I went into full freeze. I could barely function on the outside, and inside, everything had shut down. Then, with intention and healing, I slowly found my way back to stability—only to be knocked down again by life’s inevitable challenges. And that’s the truth no one talks about enough: healing your nervous system isn’t a one-time fix. It’s a relationship. A lifelong dance. Right now, I’m in a softer, more retreating season. I’m listening more closely. Slowing down. Letting my body lead. I’ve been drawn to somatic practices—movement, dancing, even painting—ways to process what words can’t touch. And I’ve realized something surprising: my nervous system actually prefers introversion now. I used to identify as an extrovert, but that’s shifted as I’ve learned what safety truly feels like in my body. In this episode, we explore what the nervous system really is—not just biologically, but energetically and spiritually. Your nervous system is the bridge between your physical reality and your inner world. It holds your experiences, your emotions, your patterns. It shapes how you perceive life, connection, and even your relationship to something greater than yourself. And when you’re stuck in survival mode, that deeper connection—your intuition, your sense of peace—can feel out of reach. The truth is, so many of us are living in survival without even realizing it. We talk about the signs of a dysregulated nervous system—feeling numb, stuck, frozen, or constantly on edge—and the small, powerful ways you can begin to support yourself. Practices like: MeditationMindfulnessBreathworkSomatic movementRest (real rest)This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about learning how to listen. I also share what it looks like for me when my nervous system is asking for help—like feeling overwhelmed in crowds or needing deep solitude after even a short time out in the world. And I’ll leave you with a question I want you to sit with: What would a regulated nervous system feel like for you? And what’s one small thing you can do today to move 10% closer to that? Maybe it’s a walk. Maybe it’s a breath. Maybe it’s simply giving yourself permission to slow down. This episode is an invitation—to come back into your body, your rhythm, and your own inner wisdom. A Persian Woman Remembering Her Power

Welcome to the very first episode of Conscious Conversations with Cam. This is more than a podcast—it’s a space for awakening. In this deeply personal opening episode, I share the heart behind this new chapter and why I’ve chosen to evolve from The Cam Kashani Show into something more raw, more real, and more aligned with truth. This podcast was created to support the grand awakening—through conscious, unfiltered conversations about who we really are beneath the conditioning, the trauma, and the programming. In this episode, I take you into my story… From being born in Iran during the revolution and fleeing as a baby… To growing up in Los Angeles feeling like I didn’t belong… To being bullied for my body and my ethnicity… To years of self-hate, eating disorders, addiction, and toxic relationships… To a 20-year prescription amphetamine dependency… To a painful divorce that became the catalyst for my awakening… Everything I’ve lived through has led me back to my power. And now, I’m here to help you remember yours. This podcast will explore consciousness, healing, truth, and empowerment. Some episodes will be solo, some will include powerful guests—and some will go into the conversations no one is willing to have, but deeply need to be heard. My mission is simple: To remind you of your power… So we can create a more sovereign, awakened world—together. Your story matters. Your voice matters. You matter. Thank you for being here at the beginning of this journey. Stay tuned for what’s next. All love, Cam Remember to follow me on IG @cam_kashani

How Healing Trauma can also Heal Physical Pain

In this episode, I speak with another beautiful, grounded soul I met in Peru: Lauren Mazukiewicz --> @queendalini on IG. Lauren is deeply embedded in the world of plant medicine, trauma healing, and holistic care, and joins me to share a bit of her personal journey and to discuss the Divine Feminine and overcoming what holds you back from reaching your full potential.  We focus on what it’s like to become co-dependent and allow the happiness of others to dictate your own happiness, and what it takes to break out of these cycles. What happens when you start to show up for yourself? What does it take to fine-tune your self-mothering to honor your past and your triggers while gaining the understanding to work through them?  Like myself, Lauren has turned to powerful tools to heal trauma like plant medicine, yoga and meditation, movement, sound, and Feminine health. The link between your trauma and your physical health is undeniable, and when we hold in our trauma and allow our triggers to overwhelm us, it can create serious and sometimes chronic health problems.  Through self-curiosity and self-love, we can all learn to harness our most powerful attributes, embrace our most sensitive selves, and live without the challenge of constantly reacting to or managing our triggers.  Join me and Lauren for an intimate conversation about this and much more, and discover some of the ways we’ve chosen to put energy into our personal wellness journeys.  Cam Kashani camkashani.com Divine Feminine Embodiment Intuitive Transformational Coach @camkashani Remember to follow me on IG @cam_kashani

Why Healing Trauma Is Essential to Becoming Your Best Self

Welcome to Season 3 of the Cam Kashani Show! Season 3 is going to be focused on women and our power and discovering the paths we take and the tools we use to become truly ourSelves.  In this episode, I am thrilled to be joined by the powerhouse team of Rachelle and Saskia from Not Your Average Psychic. They are Psychologists and Psychics -- not your average combo. ;) And having personally worked with them, I can absolutely vouch for them.  So, how did these powerful women come into their gifts and discovered their purpose in life? And how did they move past the judgments of society to really be in their power and own their gifts? Both psychologists, Rachelle and Saskia met nearly a decade ago when Rachelle sought out Saskia to help her handle the intense fear she regularly experienced. A person with psychic inclination since she was a small child, Rachelle struggled with the messages she received and tried to push her spiritual connection away, resulting in major emotional discomfort.  With the help of Saskia, Rachelle began accepting her psychic gifts and even helped Saskia to begin to explore her own connection with the Universe. Together, they began a journey of self-acceptance and began honing their ability to channel energy. A few short years later, the chance to begin offering their services to other people appeared, and they began working to help others seeking answers to their life questions.  For both Rachelle and Saskia, the key to their success was leaning into and embracing their full selves. You can’t stop being a psychic, no matter how hard or long you try.  We are all born to overcome our hurdles. Trauma, pain, fear, are all catalysts for growth and self-discovery.  In this in-depth interview with Rachelle and Saskia, we delve deep into what it takes to build a connection with your own Soul, and how healing from trauma can help turn us into our most authentic selves, and how to eliminate distractions that keep you apart from your Self.  To begin your own journey with the help of Rachelle and Saskia, be sure to visit their website notyouraveragepsychic.com.  Remember to follow me on IG @cam_kashani

From Tech & Startups to Healing & the Divine Masculine

Ravi and I met eons ago when we were both immersed in the world of tech and startup companies. Now, both Ravi and I have discovered different (but converging) paths. Ravi’s path has brought him to Thailand, where he has studied his spirituality and the Divine Masculine. My path has also led me to explore my spirituality, with a strong focus on the Divine Feminine and the power of the Self.  So, where did Ravi’s journey begin? It started with rock bottom. Or what felt like rock bottom. In February 2019, Ravi lost a job at a tech startup that had become a key part of his identity. Not only did Ravi lose his job, but he also lost the community he had worked so hard to become part of. Just weeks after losing his job, the COVID-19 pandemic began in earnest, sending the rest of the world into turmoil.  Everything led up to the question: What does Ravi want? What exists at the core of Ravi’s Being?  As Ravi puts it: it was a process of following breadcrumbs that led him to alignment. It has been about constant restructuring and realigning in pursuit of a more authentic version of Self. The breadcrumbs led Ravi to India, to yoga teacher training, and the Osho Ashram where he began to shed his layers of grief, sadness, and anger. After a year in India, the breadcrumbs led Ravi to Thailand, where he resides today.  Through bodywork, breathwork, and connecting with the right spiritual teachers and guides at the right time, Ravi finally pulled back the curtain to reveal his Divine Self, free from the labels he had lived with his whole life. Rather than putting economic, social, or educational success first, Ravi was putting himSelf first, and accessing the thing that had been missing all along.  In his exploration of Divine Energies, Ravi has discovered the need for balance. Balance brings about abundance, and imbalance brings about dissatisfaction. Everyone has both Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energies within them, but when one is suppressed or ignored, the other becomes overbearing and throws the Self out of balance. When the Self is balanced, then and only then can you achieve your highest vibration.  For Ravi, Divine Masculinity feels like strength, presence, and safety. In the safety of the Divine Masculine, the Divine Feminine - in all its creativity, emotion, and ferocity - can thrive and flourish.  In the final episode of Season 2 of The Cam Kashani Show, Ravi and I discuss delving inside and healing ourselves. Introspection can cause tremendous growth, and in a world where chaos and imbalance are the norm, taking a moment to check in with your Self and your thoughts is more important than ever before.  See you all in a few weeks with Season 3.  All my love, Cam Kashani Intuitive Coach Divine Feminine Embodiment www.camkashani.com Remember to follow me on IG @cam_kashani

    Healing is a Lifelong Journey

Healing is a lifelong journey.  I’ve been doing “the work”, as in “the inner work”, for more than 8 years, and it has been a rollercoaster. It’s been difficult, painful, terrifying, and exhausting, and I’ve wanted to pull my hair out and give up entirely more than once. The journey has also been incredibly gratifying, and given me immense gratitude, and increased my self-love. My healing journey has brought out every emotion you can imagine, but I continue on because I know that it is a commitment, and moreover, I know that it’s worth it.  When you start a healing journey, you think to yourself that in the end you will feel better and be all done. Well, you’ll certainly start to feel better, but there is no being “done.” Healing is a lifelong commitment, a lifelong journey, a layered and non-linear process. Sure, you may be able to move beyond some things, you may even be able to feel completely healed from them, but other things require lifelong work and attention.  Healing is not a destination, it is a journey. It’s not “WHEN I heal I WILL BE empowered,” it’s “AS I heal I BECOME empowered.” There is nothing else I would rather be doing than healing, and with every layer that is removed, I am closer to my true self and the journey becomes a little easier. Those layers reveal new things about yourself, and new truths that may require more work, but with the work comes a deeper and more trusting bond between you and the Self.  Now, I’ve turned my passion into coaching, helping others (and particularly women) connect with their divine feminine and truest Self. Even when the healing journey looks like an insurmountable mountain, it is so worth doing. Just take one step at a time. Along the way, you’ll gain so much more than healing and peace. You’ll have moments of immense joy, moments of clarity, moments of surprise when you reveal something about yourself you’ve never known before.  In this episode, I talk a little bit about some of the clarity, painful memories, and surprises I have been faced with upon my own healing journey and share the wisdom I’ve gathered along the way.  Don’t you deserve to live a free, embodied, empowered, happy life? What can you do for yourself today to begin to heal? Let’s get started together… Sending you all love, Cam Kashani Intuitive Coach Divine Feminine Embodiment  Inspirational Speaker Remember to follow me on IG @cam_kashani
