As you know I'm curious about anything with origins to the Virgin Mary and also saints who were inspired or visited by her during their lifetimes.     Happy New Year 2026! Even popular culture takes note of miraculous events. Here's a remembrance from Joe & Lauren Wells.   First of all, full disclosure, I will be reading excerpts of it from the news story by reporter Hollis as well as from the press release by one of the hero's employers.    This is a real event that took place last month on a Sunday evening, December 19, 2021. A married couple, Joe and Lauren Wells began an outing and started driving their children to the movies.    Lauren a registered nurse at the time was 9 months pregnant. As they drove along, she and husband Joe, at the time a Corporal with the Chattahoochee Hills Georgia police department, as they were driving to the theatre, rethought this plan and instead decided a better time would be had if they drove instead to a friends home instead.    There are links, photos and more about this on my website.
