    HERE ARE THE TOP 5 STORIES OF THE WEEK  Andhra Pradesh to invest Rs 6,400 cr to develop new roads Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced this on Monday at a high-level review meeting on roads, airports, and seaports that Andhra Pradesh government has decided to develop new roads at Rs 6,400 crore with financial aid from New Development Bank (NDB) in the state.  Engineers India acquires Rs 1,039 cr Cauvery Basin Refinery project Engineers India acquired 2.64% to Rs 73.85 after the firm told the media that it bagged a Rs 1,039-crore order from Chennai Petroleum Corporation (CPCL). Engineers India renders engineering, design, acquisition, construction, and integrated project management services primarily for gas, and oil and petrochemical firms.  Maharashtra plans Konkan Expressway construction at Rs 70k cr The public works department, led by senior Congressman Ashok Chavan, has proposed a Rs 70,000 crore plan to build a 400 km road connecting Mumbai and Sindhudurg via Raigad and Ratnagiri. The project will reduce travel time between Mumbai and Sindhudurg from six to seven hours to three hours when completed.  Welspun India aims Rs 730 cr turnover from e-commerce by FY23 Mumbai-based Welspun India is looking at a Rs 730 crore turnover from e-commerce as it looks at a larger play in the USA, UK, and India through its brands by FY23.  Maha govt allots Rs 26,831 cr for Pune outer ring road project The Maharashtra Government gave administrative approval of Rs 26,831.24 crore for the project and a concession agreement with the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), following the Hindu Hridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samrud, on Monday. The total addressable market potential for drones in India is estimated to be Rs 3 lakh crore, or $40 billion, according to a Ficci study.  Mumbai, Delhi listed in EIU’s top 50 safest cities in the world New Delhi and Mumbai have made it to the top 50 on the Global Safe Cities Index 2021, with a score of 56.1 and 54.4, respectively. The first 10 safest cities from the Index are Copenhagen, Toronto, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Wellington, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Stockholm.  SC issues notice to demolish Supertech twin towers in Noida The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the demolition of twin 40-storey towers in Supertech Ltd;s Emerald Court project in Noida for violating building by-laws in collusion with authority officials, dealing a blow to the real estate giant.
