    Send us a text UK's top public speaking coach and author of Just F*cking Say It!, Susie Ashfield, breaks down how to create messages that actually stick: simple, unexpected, vivid, and easy to retell.  I’ve been a fan of Susie’s for years, so I was delighted when she agreed to be the closing speaker at my Mini Marketing Marathon in August. This is why many content creators rely on B-roll footage to transform everyday life into shareable stories that viewers relate to.   In this solo episode, I share tips and techniques for gathering and creating posts using B-roll (aka raw footage), like using overlays and music, and easy-to-use video templates.  Top Takeaways 🔹Document, don’t perform—capture real moments to reduce pressure and ship more.  🔹Think in 3 simple ideas: what you’re doing, where to place the phone, what to show or tell. 🔹Turn clips into posts with one format: text-on-screen, voiceover with b-roll, or screen demo. 🔹Hook fast (first 1–3 seconds); keep caption lines short. 🔹Length guardrails: 7–20 seconds for quick tips; up to 60–90 seconds if you’re teaching. 🔹Voice over and music.
