    Comic Books, Pizza, Beer & the Socially Aware Rectum

    The boys are back for Episode 2 of Context Not Included, and somehow the conversation goes from Miller High Life and potato chips to comic book culture, Batman, Marvel vs. DC, brick oven pizza, Siri, Alexa, Legends of Valdoria, and whether your rectum is socially aware. So… basically, a normal conversation. This week, Frank reveals the shocking truth about America’s Got Talent: apparently, those close-up magicians aren’t actually doing their own magic. Frank is. There’s also an important investigation into the “champagne of beers,” Miller High Life, a highly scientific chip and beer tasting involving Middleswarth potato chips, and a frozen piece of Italian soppressata that may or may not require cooking. Then things take a hard left into comic book culture as John attempts to educate Frank on Marvel, DC Comics, Batman, Superman, Iron Man, secret identities, and the actual target audience for Legends of Valdoria. Along the way, we meet Capicola Soppressata (Gobs for short) , hear about Sapienza's Deli, and discover that Frank apparently has created an entire comic book universe that John was not adequately briefed on.     Context Not Included - Pilot Episode

    After 38 years of preparation, several questionable career decisions, at least three verbal loops, and one extremely confusing discussion about Lululemon, John and Frank have finally decided it’s time to make a podcast. In the inaugural episode of Context Not Included, the longtime friends attempt to explain what the hell this show is and immediately prove that even they have absolutely no idea. In the pilot episode, John and Frank revisit how they met back in the late ’80s, debate the exact year of their first encounter, discuss the dangers of ugly dresses, reflective surfaces, plastic rakes, thick restaurant menus, and somehow arrive at the German word "Schadenfreude" after taking several scenic detours through Sonny & Cher, the Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, the Ink Spots, and the Isley Brothers. Along the way, they introduce the legendary “You, Me, NOT” story that gave you, their listeners and viewers, your name, explain why working in television technology was basically high school with paychecks, and demonstrate their unique ability to turn a simple conversation into an archaeological excavation of decades-old inside jokes. There are stories. There are songs. There are future guests. There are senators. There are special-effects artists who worked on Titanic, Die Hard, and The Addams Family movies. There may even be sports figures. But this is not a political show. It is also not a sports show. It is not a special-effects show and It's definetley not a political sports show with special effects. Instead, it’s two longtime friends sitting around talking about whatever the hell crosses their minds and inviting you into the conversation, whether you understand what they’re talking about or not. And if you don't understand? Perfect. That's the whole point. Context Not Included. Because sometimes the best stories are the ones where nobody remembers why they started, everyone remembers them differently, and somehow you end up talking about a Wi-Fi thought file in AIFF format.     Context Not Included Trailer

    John Palma & Frank Sasso have been friends for decades and worked together for 5 years but somehow still haven’t agreed on what “the point” of any of their conversations are. Context Not Included drops you straight into their unfiltered, stream-of-consciousness world where inside jokes don’t get explained, references don’t get resolved, and somehow everything still makes sense… sort of. It’s the kind of friendship most guys wish they had, most women pretend they don’t understand, and neither will ever fully admit it is actually kind of perfect.
