Immersive Apocalypse

Blackout is a very immersive experience with clear distinctions in tone between Seasons 1 & 2. The premise is intriguing, so much so that it makes you question how you’d react in such an apocalyptic scenario. The overall story has potential but loses momentum as the plot continually forgets about key elements or ties up loose ends in a way that falls flat of the expectations. That being said, the moment to moment experience is intense and viscerally engaging. Hopeful for a Season 3 as it would be interesting to finally get answers to the show’s many questions.
Yet another show that ends with no ending

I enjoyed this show—the immersive audio was wild, Colmon Domingo was a treat, and it tackled a real fear in our modern society—but I’m so dead sick of shows that end with no ending that this will be the last one I start without researching that issue further. Even the bonus content was pointless and ended on the same cliffhanger the season 2 finale did. You owe fans better than this.

I really liked the first 4 episode. After episode 4 I started to not enjoy the show. I really didn’t like the character Madeline and how no one stood up against her. Seemed unrealistic that everyone would just accept that she makes all the rules after the power grid went out.
