Mitch Slater - Springsteen, Music and Managing Money

Mitch Slater - Springsteen, Music and Managing Money

Mitch Slater is a musician, he's been a radio producer, he's a financial advisor, and the biggest Springsteen fan I know. I first encountered Mitch several years ago, and immediately saw he was one in a million. He doesn't push anything on social media, except for Springsteen. He's sharing his passions, engaging in conversations, and is there to offer encouragement and a smart word.
Make no mistake: He is GREAT at what he does! He is one of Gary Vaynerchuk's financial go to people, and he's always trying to push the financial industry forward into new realms, by being a genuine marketer who kicks butt as his job and embraces the SOCIAL part of social media.
Special treat: Live performance from Mitch Slater Mitch performed a song for us, so I'm also including the video of his performance. I hope the recording makes you smile as much as it made me smile when he performed for me live.
Here's the video version of this conversation: https://youtu.be/Go88ZD0vcCE

He also is a long-time advocate of financial literacy in the classroom to help promote smarter fiscal responsibility at an earlier age. His mission is to connect young adults with peers and professionals to get smarter and better when dealing with money.
Mitch recently served with dignity for six years on the Westfield Board of Education in Westfield, New Jersey and just completed his tenure on The New York Advisory Board for Little Kids Rock, a non-profit that's putting music back into schools.
A passionate "Boss-ophile", Mitch has attended more than 250 Bruce Springsteen shows over 35 years and has appeared as Springsteen historian on Sirius' E Street Radio. One of the smartest tech folks for over a decade

I followed Phil back in the early days of blogging. He always was one of the most genuine of the “tech gurus” and now that I know him let me add smart and nice. You should listen to this show.
