Cookies For Lunch is about all things “cookie” and then some! People who are in the cookie biz know that the word cookie is used as a verb…we are cookiers….we love to cookie…can you cookie that? You get the idea.
Our hope is to share tips, ideas, lessons learned, and discuss topics relative to the cookie world, or just topics that we as bakers, cookie artists, and humans find relevant. We are local Kansas City women, who have a unique approach to their businesses – all related to cookies, but in different ways, and each brings a different perspective to the discussion.

Fun and informative!
I’m new to listening to the podcast and catching up on back episodes voraciously—so much so I know that when I do get current, it’s going to feel like the friendly cookie conversation has come to an alarmingly abrupt halt. Though sugar cookies aren’t my professional focus, it has been insightful to hear what the hosts and guest hosts share about their cookie businesses. I appreciate the range of focuses/differences in their companies and hearing how their experiences vary as a result. Like I said, it’s both fun and informative. What a delectable combination. I hope they keep serving up more!
Meh
Listened to my first 2 episodes while cycling. Learned all about the outfit somebody didn’t like but wore to graduation party anyway. Heard all about busy life, hotel room booking, …and more chitchat. Learned NOTHING about cookies. Not what I expected.
Wonderful way to spend time
Is listening to these ladies pontificate cookies and the folks that make them! I enjoy the way from group balances each other’s and the guests have been terrific too. Although I am partial to one in particular.
Don’t be afraid to interview some cookie hubbys ;)
