Jay Rin is a Nashville based, Southern California born and raised, soulful Rock/Americana artist whose raw vocal power and vibrant spirit can be compared to the likes of big names like Janis Joplin, Brandi Carlile, and Chrissie Hynde. Since the release of her debut album "Fool on the Fringe", she has been featured on Knoxville's WDVX "Blue Plate Special", Murfreesboro's WMOT, and Los Angeles' #1 classic rock station KLOS where she received a "STAY" on The Heidi and Frank "Stay or Go" show and was voted as the best segment of 2023. She can also be found playing the part of “John Lennon” in the internationally touring all female Beatles tribute act Penny Lane who will return to the Cavern club for feature performances in August 2024 for International Beatleweek!

Join us for an accordion conversation as our panel of guests—each a passionate advocate for the accordion —shares their insights, anecdotes, and tales. Here’s a run-down of our panelists:
Frank Anderson: A Film Maker, a Musician and Wisconsin Historian. He played accordion on the Killdozer track "Free Love in Amsterdam" off the album “12 Point Buck”. He currently plays in a band called Zebra Mussel.
Len Nelson: A seasoned accordionist and former radio host from Appleton, Wisconsin. He helped put a spotlight on local music in many ways during and after his radio career. Most notably by starting a show called “Home Brewed” on WAPL which continues to this day. He currently acts as the MC and plays accordion in the band STEEM.
Danny Jerabek: Hailing from Ripon, Danny is a multi-instrumentalist. His love affair with the accordion began early, fueled by family traditions and the spirit of Wisconsin’s festivals. Danny’s fusion of genres—rock, polka, and everything in between—has breathed new life into the accordion’s legacy.

Kristin Lytie (LightEE) is a stand-up comedian hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin. She cut her teeth in the Chicago comedy scene and even earned the distinction of being named a “Comic to See” by the Chicago Tribune.

Kristin has a comedy album coming out which is going to get a special vinyl release. She’ll also be performing at the GBUFO Fest at the Tarlton Theater in Green Bay this upcoming July.

They recently took home two awards at the inaugural Bay Area Music Awards (BAMMYs). They’ve got a new E.P. coming out called “Near Dark” on April 19th. They also make up "Superfriends Productions".

During June of 2011 a couple of my siblings and I planned a trip to Washington that we dubbed "Grunge-Cation". Being huge fans of Nirvana it seemed like the perfect time to go see the EMP's (at the time) Nirvana exhibit. Tony had been in contact with Kurt Cobain's Grandpa, Leland Cobain, and arranged for us to visit with him.

It's been 30 years since the passing of Kurt Cobain and seemed like a good time to get Tony and Kelly together to reflect on our visit with Leland and Gary Cobain. We don't remember everything but hopefully you'll find some of this interesting. During our conversation we watched some of the videos we recorded at Leland's. If anything, we've got our memories recorded in case we forget anything else!

Leland Cobain was born in 1923 and passed away in 2013.
