    Praise the Lord | Moxy

Send us Fan Mail Some days call for more than optimism. They call for moxie, the kind of courage that keeps moving when the plan falls apart, the money feels tight, the diagnosis lands, or the future turns foggy. We’re chasing a simple but difficult practice: praising the Lord in every circumstance, not as a performance, but as a decision rooted in who God is.  We share an honest story from our early days planting a church in France, when leadership changes and financial pressure forced a fork in the road. Do we stay because God called us, or leave because others left? That moment opens a bigger conversation about perspective, “first world problems,” and the very real weight many people carry, then brings it back to a steady refrain: the Lord be praised.  From there we dig into Scripture with Moses and Joshua, focusing on identity in God, God’s presence, and the repeated promise “I will not leave you or forsake you.” We walk through Joshua’s call to be strong and courageous and the battle of Jericho, where worship and obedience become the strategy, not human strength. If you’re facing a wall that won’t move, you’ll hear practical faith for today: stop feeding fear, refuse complaint, follow God’s presence, and let worship do its work.  If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review so more people can find the message. Face the Fear | Moxy

Send us Fan Mail The world trains us to blend in, stay quiet, and keep everything under control. We’re going after a different kind of courage: moxie as holy grit, the stubborn decision to trust God when fear is shouting and the future feels unknown. Pastor J gets practical about why so many of us feel anxious, why we grip so tightly, and what it really means to “face the fear” without pretending we’re fine. We talk identity in Christ in plain language: when your job changes, your bank account swings, your plans collapse, or your past comes back to haunt you, your value doesn’t move. The cross reshapes the way we see ourselves and other people, and baptism becomes more than a moment, it becomes a marker that says the old life doesn’t get the final word. If you’ve been carrying shame, unforgiveness, or the need to manage everything, this message is a reset. Then we step into Exodus and follow Moses from a complicated beginning to a devastating failure to a surprising calling at the burning bush. God redeems him, sends him to Pharaoh, and leads His people through plagues, Passover, and straight into the impossible wall of the Red Sea. That’s where the theme gets personal: sometimes the only way forward is for God to make a way, and our part is surrender, obedience, and trust. If this helped you, share it with a friend who’s trying to hold it all together, subscribe for more messages on faith and courage, and leave a review so more people can find the podcast. Easter 2026

Send us Fan Mail “He is risen” is not a holiday slogan for us, it’s the announcement that Jesus is alive and the grave does not get the last word. We start with the core message of Resurrection Sunday and the hard contrast that every other tomb stays full while Christ walks out victorious. If you’ve been carrying fear, regret, or the feeling that you have to earn your way back to God, we want you to hear this clearly: you can’t buy grace, you can’t impress God into saving you, and you don’t have to stay trapped in yesterday’s shame. We move through the Holy Week story, from the crowds shouting “Hosanna” to the cruelty of the cross, and we linger on what Jesus says and does in suffering. Then we gather at the table for communion, remembering his body and blood, and we pray for real needs: physical healing, restored relationships, peace in anxious minds, and protection for anyone battling dark thoughts. This is Christian hope with feet on the ground, trusting God’s power while honoring doctors, nurses, and wise care. From Romans 6, we talk about what the resurrection means for daily life: death no longer has dominion, sin does not get to define you, and following Jesus is a lived discipleship, not a one-time moment. We also give a direct invitation to confess Jesus as Lord, believe in his resurrection, and step into salvation, with practical next steps like baptism and community. If this message helps you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the hope of Jesus Christ. What part of the message hit closest to home for you? Palm Sunday

Send us Fan Mail Palm Sunday starts with a word a lot of us sing but don’t always understand: Hosanna. We slow down and name it plainly, “save us, we pray,” because that’s the heartbeat of real worship and real Christian faith. If you’ve ever kept Jesus at arm’s length because closeness would require honesty, repentance, or change, this conversation is for you. We’re drawing a bright line between being a fan of Jesus and being a follower of Jesus, and why distance can feel safe while discipleship costs something. We walk through Matthew 21 and the triumphal entry, from the overlooked “go get the donkey” obedience to the way prophecy points to a humble King. The crowd waves palms and lays down cloaks, and we talk about what surrender looks like in normal life: immediate obedience, forgiving when you would rather delay, giving more than spare change, and offering your testimony even when it makes you feel exposed. Hosanna becomes a daily prayer for deliverance from our own mess, our bad decisions, and the chaos that sin brings. Holy Week is also an invitation, not just a timeline. We point toward Good Friday reflection and Easter Sunday celebration, and we take seriously the question Jerusalem asked: “Who is this?” That question still opens doors for sharing Jesus with friends, family, and coworkers. If you’re ready to stop spectating and start following, listen all the way through, then subscribe, share this with someone you’re inviting to church, and leave a review that helps more people find the message. To The Cross

Send us Fan Mail Jesus knows. Not in a vague, distant way, but in the gritty, lived way that meets you in the middle of pain, pressure, and the stuff you haven’t told anyone. With Easter two weeks away, we wrestle with a surprising challenge: what if God wants to do something today, not just on the “big” Sunday? We open with prayer for the hurting, then turn to Matthew 20 where Jesus tells His disciples exactly what’s coming: betrayal, suffering, the cross, and resurrection on the third day. From there, we zoom out to the mission Jesus gives His church. We talk discipleship, the Great Commission, and why following Jesus is more than a private faith. Then we step onto the Mount of Transfiguration in Matthew 17, where the disciples want to stay in the glory, but the Father’s words cut through everything: “Listen to Him.” That moment becomes a mirror for us. We can’t camp out in spiritual highs. We’re called to walk back down the mountain with His presence, His peace, and His purpose in our everyday lives. The message builds to the road to the cross where “Jesus knows” becomes personal. He knows the shame, the loneliness, the injustice, and the cost, yet He keeps moving because He loves us. And we don’t stop at the grave. We declare the best news straight: Jesus is alive, and His sacrifice covers our sin and brings real freedom. We close with a clear invitation to surrender your life to Christ, prepare your heart for communion, and take a practical next step in community. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find it. Kingdom Builders 2026

Send us Fan Mail The world is instantly connected, yet millions still haven’t heard the story that changes everything. We sit down with Pastor Kyle Trewern to explore how a missionary family is planting Genoa International Church in a city where fewer than two percent personally know Jesus—and why prayer, partnership, and persistence are breaking through real barriers of distance, language, and culture. From a house church reading John in four languages to a quiet hospital-room miracle that turned alarms into awe, these stories show what happens when we ask for rain and bring the saddle inside. We walk through a simple blueprint that hasn’t changed since Acts 1:8: wait on the Lord, receive the power of the Holy Spirit, and be witnesses locally, regionally, and globally. Kyle shares how everyday hospitality—meals, open Bibles, and honest questions—can help neighbors from China, Russia, and across Europe hear the gospel in their heart language, often for the very first time. Along the way, we confront a sobering image: too many empty saddles in churches and missions. Whether it’s seven pulpits open across Arizona or entire neighborhoods in Genoa without a Bible-preaching church, the need is clear and the invitation is personal. If you’ve ever wondered how to make a real impact, this conversation offers practical next steps: pray specifically for laborers and open doors, give strategically through Kingdom Builders to fund translation and church plants, and be ready to go—across the street or across the sea. You’ll hear a warm, faith-filled challenge to move when the Spirit moves, plus a heartfelt invitation to trust Jesus and seek the Spirit’s empowering presence. If this story stirred you, share it with a friend, leave a rating and review, and subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next. Then tell us: where is God asking you to pick up the saddle—Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, or the ends of the earth? Freedom | Future Family

Send us Fan Mail What if your home could breathe again? Not perfect, not polished—free. We explore what true freedom looks like when Jesus is the center, moving past cultural definitions and into the lived reality of grace, peace, and a family that stands on solid ground. We start with focus—how attention directs a household—and trace how friction, handled as a united team, builds resilience instead of resentment. From there, we drill into foundation and why keeping Christ at the core prevents slow cracks from becoming structural failures. Freedom in Christ isn’t vague; it’s the end of condemnation and the beginning of rest. We dig into Romans 8 and John 8, unpacking peace, assurance, and the way perfect love evicts fear. Then we name the leash that quietly yanks us back: unforgiveness. You’ll hear a practical, compassionate path to release people to God’s justice, step out of the judgment seat, and recover your capacity to love without denying real harm. We also confront excuses and patterns that keep families stuck, offering simple, honest steps to change: replace reasons with action, build new habits, and ask for help before the hole gets deeper. Confession becomes the hinge where everything turns. First to God, who already knows, then to trusted people who will guard your story and carry it with you. We share how confession lightens the load, how identity reframes effort, and why being “born again” means expecting to learn again—walking, talking, and trying with patient consistency. Along the way we point to practices that build a culture of freedom: Scripture as a roadmap, small obediences, life-giving groups, and a mission mindset that pours out what God has poured in. If you’re tired of roaming the yard only to be yanked by the same leash, press play. Let’s drop the shovel, cut the chains, and choose a freer way to live and love. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope today, and leave a review to help more families find freedom. Fierce | Future Family

Send us Fan Mail Fear is loud, but it doesn’t get the final say over your home. We share a straight-talking, hope-filled path to lead your family with courage—fierce for what matters, not fake for appearances. From Romans 2–3, we unpack why none of us earns righteousness, how grace makes us new, and what a real, practiced faith looks like when the pressure is on. We start by naming the noise: headlines and feeds that monetize panic. Then we flip the script with “faith over fear,” not as a catchphrase but as a rhythm—prayer over worry, presence over avoidance, service over cynicism. You’ll hear practical steps to fight for your family instead of with your family: blessing your home with Scripture, shutting down cutting talk, apologizing quickly, and choosing repair over retreat. If you’ve ever felt stuck repeating the same conflict year after year, we talk about breaking that loop with community, mentoring, and simple habits that nudge growth forward. We also confront the difference between cultural “niceness” and biblical righteousness. Good people aren’t made right by effort; grace through Jesus is the only ground that holds. That truth frees us to drop the plastic, confess without shame, and normalize the altar—a daily return to God’s presence for wisdom, unity, and strength. Along the way, we press into “no fake faith, no fake family, no fake friends,” urging you to anchor your closest relationships with believers who help you pray first, speak life, and do the Word, not just hear it. If you’re ready to replace panic with purpose and performance with authenticity, this conversation will give you language, tools, and courage to start today. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review telling us the one faith practice you’re putting into action this week.
