I came across Matt’s content as he was a guest speaker to one of my favorite persons and career coach Niki Woodwall. I was immediately drawn to his story, identified with his struggles and found it captivating, motivational and most importantly honest and vulnerable. I saw myself as he described his struggles in corporate America trying to climb the corporate ladder. But it also gave me hope and excitement that there is light at the end of the rat race. I knew deep within myself that this can not be it, working endless hours while been miserable at work, the constant search of the dream job while been exhausted. I recommend this show to people who feel stuck in their careers. Matt’s story and advice really strike a chord. Makes me want to take serious action. I love how brutally honest Matt is. He gives you straight talk about how sleepy most workers are today and he highlights the massive opportunity costs of inaction. The “own your 9-5” message is badly needed. Great show!
